your journey’s been etched on your skin
I refuse to cut live animals up.
I refuse to come on that day.
I will say a little prayer for the poor thing tomorrow.

My top must-listens for this week in no particular order:
- Change Your Mind - AAR (this song has been playing in my mind)
- Love Who You Love - Rascal Flatts (why not give country music a shot?)
- You Make We Wanna - Blue (you make me wanna.. surrender my soul. i love the pause between the 'wanna' and 'surrender')
- Party People - Fergie ft. Nelly (if you don't mind the profanities, it is quite a good song)
- Cupid's Chokehold - Gym Class Heroes (ba-na-na-na. reminisce)
- Cash Machine - Hard Fi (inside joke of the day)
- Check Yes Juliet - We The Kings (heard it twice today.. once in the car the other on Tv)
- Thunder - Boys Like Girls (really, i know it's old news but for those less updated ones like me, check it out)
- All Your Reasons - Matchbox 20 (the tune is so cute at the beginning)
- To The Moon and Back - Savage Garden (in your mind, you're probably going, "that's so 1997." true but there's no harm in bringing in new memories or old ones, right?)
- Nolita Fairytale - Vanessa Carlton ( i notice she uses a lot of 'oooohs' and 'whoaas' which kinda fits into the song and her voice is kiddy ;P)
- No Love - Simple Plan (not new, not a single but go load it somewhere and listen to it. definitely will lift you off your feet)
- Breathe - Taylor Swift (i don't know, that day i just came across it and i've abandoned it for a while)
- Photograph - Weezer (not the same photograph as nickelback)
- Close - Rascal Flatts (the lyrics tell a story, that's what makes it so special)
I'm la~la~la-ing to music. (:

By the way, mom, Josh Duhamel is from Transformers and he's Fergie's husband. Remember?
And I knew you'd choose Paul.
Never mind.
I've got my new music and I'm overjoyed.
She'd be California, yeah.

James Valentine on the set of Wake Up Call
nickelback, gotta be somebody / we the kings, check yes juliet
Another Canadian band with songs that I listen to. Other Canadian bands? Bleh.
No idea how they got the name Nickelback but I keep thinking that's the lead singer's name. Haha.

gotta be somebody
Well, we definitely have to be somebody if not we'll be nobody.
I think they sing songs with meanings about how people are suffering out there and nobody wants to be alone. Something like Daughtry, I guess. Except I think Nickelback is better. Duh.
Anyway, we heard this song on the radio. A few times, I guess. We almost immediately recognised his rough voice that makes us laugh. This song is kinda famous, seeing how many times they play it on the radio. I haven't heard of them since Photograph and If Everyone Cared.
The music video... hmm.. I don't know. I haven't watched it myself. It's hard to find music videos on Youtube now. Yuck. I don't really know where to find music videos already.. so I guess I have nothing to say about it at all.
The song is nice. They always have great tunes and great lyrics with a good meaning behind it. I think it's really cool of them to tell a story about people of the world in a song. Keep it goin' on! I can't wait to get their latest album, Dark Horse.
To Check Yes Juliet now.
More and more Romeo and Juliet songs nowadays, huh?
I have to say that We The Kings don't really look the best and I'm not a big fan of their songs. This is the only We The Kings' song I would listen to. I like the bridge. Of course, the beat is great..
The music video really made me laugh. It's popular on music channels but not the radio. A whole band of long haired freaks flinging their hair round and round? Haha. Now that's hilarious. The girl's father doesn't allow her to see this whoever lead singer is.. Finally when she catches her father with another woman, she has the courage to sneak out of her window to go to 'Romeo's concert where they end up together.
And they sound like Boys Like Girls. I was really confused when I heard this song. I wondered if it was Thunder or Hero/Heroine but it wasn't until I finally realised it was them.
Er, wow. That was a long sentence. Both songs are recommended.
