My thoughts on the fashion choices at the Grammys 2012

So. The Grammys were yesterday and though I'm not a big fan of award shows, I do like checking out the red carpet arrivals. I won't comment on everyone's fashion choices because there are way too many. I'll go in descending order from A to Z.

Adele, of course, is first.

I heard that she won 6 Grammys. Congratulations, I guess. She went with a retro glamor Hollywood look with bouncy curls and bright red lipstick. Overall, I think she looked quite classy. The dress did her curvy figure justice and I love those silver nails. She didn't over-accessorize which is good because over-accessorizing can seriously damage a simple and elegant look.

Alicia Keys.

Love the dress, disagree with the hair and those Louboutins. I mean, what is up with the pompadour? I think she would've looked better with a chignon or even just a ponytail. The hairstyle has to go! And those heels don't do the dress and her legs justice! The straps of those Louboutins just made her calves look short and chunky. At least she had the sense to not over-accessorize as well.

Anne V and Adam Levine.

First off, OMG ANNE!!! Anne, you're tall, slim and gorgeous but WHAT ARE YOU WEARING???! That is not an acceptable dress. I don't care what anyone says, it is not elegant or different in a good way. It's just tacky. No, the fabric is not stuck in her thigh, it's just not there. Less is more, Anne. Unfortunately, the 'less is more' concept does not apply to your hair and makeup. Do you agree that she looks horribly pale and those straggly blond locks make her look less than supermodel standard? If she has a stylist, she has to get a new one stat. If she styled herself, then the only reason to justify her look is that she ran out of dresses to wear. Quite disappointed.

At least Adam made up for Anne's bad sense of fashion. He looks dapper in that three piece suit and his signature smile. Good choice, Adam. I'll have to deduct points from him though for even allowing his lady to walk out in that dress.

Carrie Underwood.

Simple and elegant. Can't go wrong with dresses like hers. Loving those teardrop earrings too.

Fergie.

Is it me or is everyone getting tackier by the year?! Love the dress, hate whatever she's wearing under that dress. Did she honestly think that this was going to get past everyone? Everything about her look should have gotten her a spot on the best-dressed list but she just chose to wear her underwear beneath this lace dress. Disappointed.

Jessie J.

The dress is gorgeous and so is her figure and makeup but her hair is awful. Those bangs shouldn't be allowed. It just makes her head look really square. She should have gone with loose locks or less severe bangs.

Kate Beckinsale.

I adore Kate. She always looks so classy and stunning. She's definitely on my best-dressed list. I just don't think I agree with the black sash dangling down from her shoulder. Everything else is spot-on. Love this look!

Katy Perry.

Hmm... The dress is pretty, the color is unique and she looks really pretty BUT her hair color still has to go. Blue is not you, Katy. I like her way better with dark hair. Agree or disagree? Also, her hairstyle doesn't really balance out her whole look. At least this dress looks better than the one she wore for the pre-Grammys event. The whole color blocking thing didn't look good.

Nicki Minaj.

Everything about her look = FAIL. WHAT IS SHE WEARING?! This is no better than Anne's look. Also, why is Nicki Minaj even a famous singer?!

Miranda Lambert.

I think Miranda always makes decent fashion choices like this one. The color is a little ehh but she still looks really good. For a curvy girl, she sure knows what looks good on her and I like that. Not sure what heels she's wearing but from the looks of it, it's probably a pair of strappy heels. Not too bad. What is there to not like about this look?

Rihanna.

I'm not a big fan of plunging necklines and I think only some look acceptable. This is a bit much to me. The gold cuff and clutch are really nice and the Louboutins (same as Alicia's) actually go quite well with the dress but I'm just not feeling the whole dress and hair and lack of lipstick part.

Taylor Swift.

You know what? First, I have to get this off my chest. I think Taylor's looks are SO predictable. I can almost guess what she's going to wear next - boring! She needs to take a risk. No doubt this dress is beautiful and sparkly and all but it looks so predictable on her. Also, I totally hate her new hairstyle. I think she looks better with her natural curls. This whole straightened hair thing is just ugh. It's almost like she's trying too hard.

Anyway, here's Anne and Fergie in better-looking dresses during some other previous events that they attended.

Isn't this much better? Red is hot, hot, hot on her and I love those heels. I was quite surprised to see that she wears a lot of revealing dresses which are really kind of ugh because I personally think that it doesn't take lots of cutouts and cleavage to look stunning.

This might not be Fergie's best look but I do think she looks way better than she looked at the Grammys this year. Keep it classy, Fergie.

What do you think of what the celebs wore to the Grammy Awards 2012? Honestly, I don't think this year's red carpet fashion was that tasteful. Too many people showing up in wacky outfits. Still, the better-looking ones made up for the other celebs' poor taste in fashion this year.

What do you think of award shows in general? Looking forward to the 2012 Oscar Academy Awards? I know I'm looking forward to the red carpet fashion.

Aww. They're so sweet together. Fergie's dress looks really nice and those string things in her hair. Chris Brown and Rihanna would've made a cute couple but not anymore.. hmm.. what about Katy Desrosiers? Haha! Sounds like a plan.

Taylor Swift's Mary's Song (Oh My My My) should be about them. Awwww! Taylor's songs should not be on any Twilight soundtracks because that rubbish movie ought to have nothing good. Here's her Fearless photoshoot.

Finally!

The weather has been wonderful this week. Booming thunder, big downpour and a wonderful week of seeing retarded people. Doesn't sound that nice now, does it?

Emo people should honestly just do whatever they wanna do and stop stalling for time. Nope. Emo people are just people who are lack of attention. Why do you wanna go around and tell people that you're emo? Because.. they're lack of attention. Duh.

And people should stop blowing their big, big trumpets on their personal message on MSN because it's also lack of attention and showing off. Stop telling people that being you sucks but part of it is true. Nobody wants to be like you. Why did you give in if you didn't want to, mute bedge? Haha. Because you have no brains and no mouth and no mind of your own and can't speak for yourself. Overall - wuss. Good luck being a maid, sucker. (:

Haven't been posting much because of stress from homew*rk. And other annoying sch**l stuff.

It's BSB month. We're warming up to it! Of course, our love is split here and there for our beloved people. ZOMG. I can't wait for A.J to release his solo album. How many times have I said that since last year?! I can't wait, wait, wait, wait to get his album and listen to Drive By Love.

Shiz. I'm gonna listen to it now. It'll be stuck in my head. Oh yeah! *quote Pierre* I see a few bad words there... hah. Trust A.J to have songs like that. wait. Long time to write this post because I'm gonna try out some of his songs. Or listen. Whatever. *goes off* Some people say he's gonna release it in mid '09. Good news!

London - Touching song to his father or something. "Just another rainy day in London." (: I don't have doubts about his voice or the way he sings. The backup singing is so nice. Nice tune. It's cool.
Sincerely Yours - Love the piano. Wow. Very powerful voice pitch. Emotional song too. A beautiful song because A.J makes it wonderful. Heehee!
I Quit - A faster song. LOL. Funny chorus. "I QUIT!" Hahaha. Lots of "whoo"s when he sings it live. Not sure if they're gonna include it in the real song. The piano is cute here. Did I hear a bad word at the ending??
Gorgeous - WAWAWIWA! Freaking high voice he has! All the women started screaming like hell. He sounds like a woman though here. Cracks me up when everyone starts screaming. Um, catchy! Gorgeous as it is then.
Drive By Love - Hehe. Inappropriate lyrics. WHAT THE HELL IS WITH THE MIDDLE PART? 300 music suddenly?! Anyway, the chorus just sticks in your head until you love it. I can't listen to it twice or I'll be singing it until I forget.
Hate It When You're Gone - Another emotional song. He sings with emotions! Good beat and tune. Hell. I love the piano.
Life Is Just - ZOMG. When he's plucking the guitar with his fingers, it's so smoooooth. Good guitarist. Stupid noisy people in the video.. nice song. End of story. Even if I didn't listen to everything.
Love Crazy - Not very clean song.
Have It All - He talked for three whole minutes. Thank God I just went forwards. Chorus sounds good. I think. I hope. The audio isn't really that great. The beat is louder than his voice. Damn. Pass! Too lazy to listen to the whole song.
What It Do - Another fast song. Sounds like Hump De Bump by Red Hot Chilli Peppers. I can't really hear what he's singing but it sounds okaaay. *weird look* I think. Again. How long is the song?!
What If - Total opposite of SP's What If! Nice guitar, beat, rhythm or whatever. THE GUITAR ROCKS! THE SOUND IT MAKES IS SO CUTE. Definitely.
Incomplete - His solo version. Aw. That's so sweet. It's one of the songs from his album. Totally incomplete without the others. ): Still love his voice.

can’t help it if there’s no one else

Love today.

We just watched Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus performing at the Grammy Awards or whatever you call it. They did a duet for Fifteen. You probably watched all the performances on TV or something, right?

I'm sorry to say that Taylor could've done better without Miley Cyrus! Her voice is NOT strong. I repeat. NOT strong at all. It's a disgusting, repulsive, vomiting voice. The shizziest piece of rubbish that ever entered my ears. Can you even call a chunk of crap like that a SINGER? She ought to banned. I nearly puked myself when I heard her voice. My face became all scrunched up when I heard her frigging voice. I never heard her sing before because I just turn the TV off when her face appears. Yes and her TERRIBLY DRAMATIC hand movements. I'd love to see her hit Taylor in the face accidentally in front of the camera. Good laugh.

Well, Taylor hasn't much of a voice but when she gets to a point, her voice gets better unlike this sick b-ee-atch h-0 with a male voice. The h-0's voice is utterly disgusting. I don't know WHY people are falling all over her feet just because of those stupid Disney shiz. Disney channel used to be so great but now it's filled full of a bunch of 5-l-u-t-t-y h-0 "teenagers" (who look older than eighty-year-olds) with WONDERFUL 5-t-r-i-p-p-3-r backgrounds!

Can't the world have good teenagers as role models to younger children? No. There's none. Observe those g-4-ys and 5-l-u-ts who get famous on Disney channel. Suggestive clothing and manner as the guys* and girls* get together to DANCE. I'm disappointed that Taylor counts HER as a best friend.

Today. Oh my God. Terrifying. Help me.

I wish I weren't really that smart. I wish I never met people/dogs/followers/leeches/magnets/sting rays/glue like that. It's always me. Great.

Thank God, my brains were working today. I snapped and snarled at little b-ee-atches disturbing and annoying me. I told you. Don't make me bite. When I do, I bite real hard. Like Chris Brown. I'm really sad about Chris and Rihanna. Hope it all clears up.

Anyway, mothers who think they look old, need not worry for my classmates look older than you! Seriously. No joke. See the way teenagers dress nowadays. And bad haircut day for them. Sadly, they don't notice these things. I'd be embarrassed. Rather walk around with a paperbag on my head, don't you think?

what goes on in your head, i’m just curious

Firstly, congrats to Josh and Fergie who got married today. Hope they last together because they're just so sweet together like Chris Brown and Rihanna. YAHOOOOOOOO-OOOOOH.

Secondly. I'm really bored. I decided to list out ten of my favourite songs, singles or not. It kinda like changes every week or so. I think this will be weekly, a week or so.. irregular..

Hard Fi, Little Angel - I love this song. I like the tune and everything. Just so nice to sing along.
Maroon 5, Can't Stop - I LOOOOOOOOVE the beat. Totally catchy and something I definitely like. Adam and James wrote the song together. That's the extra to it, I guess.
Maroon 5, Little Of Your Time - Love the beat too. Honestly, drums are da magic! Love the bridge, chorus, verse and blah blah blah.
Melee, Drive Away - DUH! Didn't I mention that before? I love the whole song. Love the ending and EVERYTHING.
Kid Rock, All Summer Long - One of the quiet songs by Kid Rock. I loooove the guitar parts.
Simple Plan, Take My Hand - Noise makes the whole song perfect. Nah. Ever since I watched it on that AOL session. I like the breakdown or whatever part that is. I love how the ending just ends abruptly.
Weezer, Peace - A very Chinese song. The song makes me feel PEACEful. Haha. Guitar parts rock. Again.
Backstreet Boys, Treat Me Right - I can't forget this song! It's lovely and I'm glad A.J wrote it. I had a hard time trying to sing Brian's verse once. I listen to it now and then. It's all good.
Weezer, Troublemaker - I'm glad I can sing most of the lyrics of this song. That's why I like listen to it. No. I'm not such a proud person. Tongue twisting is just good. I love, love, love it!
Enrique Iglesias ft. Sean Garrett, Away - The bridge. The lyrics. The verse. The song. The chorus. The video. It rocks! It reminds me of my favourite restaurant....

Aww! I just realised I have more songs but it feels like a waste to put them all here. I have a lot of Maroon 5 songs in mind..

Today is nice song beats week. Coincidence. I think Katy Perry's I Kissed A Girl rock version is cool. <3
