we rock the satellites
Is it just me or does the radio channel change whenever I hear a song I like?

Maybe because of my really, really bad taste of music. Or you just hate the kind of music I like.
I realize I like some songs other people hate. Like it or not, here is my top ten.

Did I mention I hate the remake of We Are The World?
Totally unoriginal because of the unknown new singers. What's up with the synthesized voices too? Hey, no Stevie Wonder or Michael Jackson, no good, okay?

What do you call a person obsessed with long sleeves?
The obsession starts only if you look good in them.

the dive from clausen’s pier
What the hell, I love this show.
Even though it made me so freaking pissed at some parts when I thought the main actress Carrie was going to be with that other dude, Kiljoy. I meant, Kilroy.
I was seriously banging on the table when they showed his parts.
Okay the point is this movie is based on the book by Ann Packer. It's really good.
Let me just pick the synopsis from one of the sites and comment on it.
"Adapted from a novel by Ann Packer, this made-for-cable romantic drama stars Michelle Trachtenberg as Carrie Beal, a Madison, Wisconsin native engaged to her high school sweetheart Mike Mayor (Will Estes). Already having serious second thoughts about her relationship with Mike, Carrie is further conflicted when he is permanently paralyzed in a diving accident. Unable to cope with the fact that Mike now needs her more than ever, Carrie abruptly heads out of town, leaving her engagement ring behind her. Inagurating a whole new life in New York City, Carrie becomes a successful fashion designer, and also has a lengthy affair with an older man named Kilroy (Sean Maher). But when things begin to go sour for her, will Carrie be able to return to Madison--and beyond that, will Mike and the other loved ones she deserted be willing to forgive and forget? The Dive from Claussen's Pier was first telecast by the Lifetime network on July 25, 2005. ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide"
The show was kinda touching really. I am made to watch sappy/unsappy romantic movies like this where I cry at all the right parts. Anyways, I think the choice of actors were appropriate. Could they have chosen a more annoying jerk face for Kilroy. No offence - that's what he really is in the movie. Jobless and carefree and moody and doesn't talk to his family. I don't like characters who don't like their families because it's wrong.
Carrie was played by Ice Princess Michelle Trachtenberg as mentioned and I think she suits the character quite well. Her emotions are matching to what she says and stuff. She's indecisive but has a huge heart. I think she still loves Mike but just thinks that she's bored with him already. They know each other inside out and Mike is such a great guy. And I can't believe she chose Kilroy to be her rebound guy.
I WANT THEM TO END UP TOGETHER DANG IT!!!
CARRIE AND MIKE. MIKE AND CARRIE.
Mike was so sweet to forgive her for calling off the engagement then running away to New York and I guess I understand why he cried. I mean, they had been together for almost nine years.. and he still loves her. Who wouldn't want a guy like that? He was stupid to jump off the pier even as Carrie shouted out to him not to. Look where he ended. I feel for him though. He couldn't even write a letter to her after that. Will Estes looks like a much younger, slightly much better-looking Robert Patrick. I like him.
The other characters were good friends to Carrie and Mike and they're kinda supportive and forgiving. That's the kind of friends you should have. Not little backstabber @#**$@!.
I'm kinda new at this romance-movie-ending-unraveling so will someone help me out on the ending? What did that even mean? She stood on the pier beside Mike who was in a wheelchair and..? So Carrie went back to Mike because she found out that she still loves him or feels the need to take care of him? And Mike? IS SHE GONNA MARRY HIM!?!?!?!?!? Kilroy? Did he face the reality that his brother is dead and make up with his family? This figure-it-out-yourself endings are driving me crazy.
The song for him is Away by Enrique Iglesias ft Sean Garrett.
And Words by Boyzone. And In Pieces by the Backstreet Boys. And Untitled by Simple Plan. And Thats Why You Go Away by Michael Learns To Rock.
The song for her is Hate That I Love You by Rihanna ft Ne-Yo. And Save You by Simple Plan. And She Will Be Loved by Maroon 5. And Lost by Katy Perry.
Oh well, my own ending is that they got married and lived happily ever after. Kilroy forgave himself and moved on, found a girlfriend and later got married but still remained as friends with Carrie. Everyone else lived happily ever after. HAHAHAHAHA!
By the way, it's was filmed in Canada so it's a half-Canadian movie.
