melee, can’t hold on

I think this video isn't really that bad. I mean, it has no scenes but only showing them playing their instruments.

As usual, Mike is smiling away even if he's beating the drums, dramatically. Ricky? Why doesn't Ricky sing?? Ryan has his usual funny face and Chris has his all serious look but you never know that they're really crazy people behind the scenes.

Making crazy movies with no meanings and idiotic stuff. No, when you see them in videos, they look really serious but actually they're clowns! Haha.

When I watched the video, I fell in love, a bit, with the song. I like it when I'm watching the video. I think I'll listen to it more often. Just like my latest favourite Melee song is Drive Away. It's so NICE! *say it like Pierre*

I don't know why I went to watch the video, anyway. Out of curiousity. Sadly, stupid Youtube has no videos anymore so I can't find their other videos.

I love the effects thingy with the green, pink and yellow background. Reminds me of the icons. It's cool.

Nice video. I like the before and after thing because you don't know which side to watch and you'll end up crossing your eyes. It's happy and sad then sad and happy. Haha. So cool. I would've never thought of that.

Enrique Iglesias ft Sean Garrett, Away

I love the video and song. The video is funny because Enrique is singing while lying on the floor as some dead guy. I don't know why no one likes this song. What's wrong? It has a good song and great lyrics. Just because he keeps repeating, doesn't mean it doesn't sound nice. I'm glad one of the radio channel loves this song.

Simple Plan, Save You

As much as I hate the over emotional and too-much-of-a-slideshow music video, I still love the song and I hate the fact that I have to share my love of this song with so many other people. We keep hearing this on the radio so maybe that's why everyone knows this song. To SP, keep doing charity stuff. It rocks. Anyway, love ya and hope you make more music like that. The first time I heard this song, I began singing along and went, "this a song I'm gonna listen to" to myself. Love at first sight?

Melee - Imitation

Blehhh. I don't really like it and I watched it just to review it. I don't like that Phantom of the Opera thingy. Ew. Spoils the whole video. What's with the crazy woman with the punched eye? I think this song was dedicated to Ricky's girlfriend's sister or something like that. No idea but I like the song. I wish they showed Ricky singing in the video though. :/ Ryan looks smiley and Mike is really, REALLY SMILEY. Haha. I like the part when Ricky suddenly becomes the guy dancing with the girl. Aww. His smile is as sweet as the others.

To Youtube, you SUCK! Why did they take off all the music videos?!?!? Huh!? What the hell is wrong with them? They're so popular but they wanna make less people to visit their site?! WHY?!?! WHAT IS THEIR PROBLEM? HALF MY FAVOURITE VIDEOS ARE GONE! COMPLETELY GONE. Have they gone mad? Oh my God, what is wrong with them? Seriously. Do they even know what they're doing? It sucks and I have to SEARCH for videos now. Huh.

you don’t care about me anymore

Taco started her music career today. Nah, just joking.

We were almost late for our lesson because there was no parking. Thank God, we parked at the nearest place. We made our way down the busy escalator. We got there and saw some people signing up for classes. As usual, Newt wasn't out yet.

In a few seconds, he was out. Wow. Great. We went in while Mom and the brother followed behind.

Mom told him to teach us some songs because Christmas was already over and we couldn't play anything. I didn't really hear the whole conversation. I was sitting inside, looking around and helping Taco unpack.. Mom told him we printed out something that we wanted to learn.

I don't know what happened to me. I went numb and embarrassed. It was kinda cheesy but if it wasn't for Mom, we wouldn't be learning songs. We would be going slow like slugs.

So, he asked us what we brought. We gave him a sheet of Daniel Powter chords. Yes, we were learning to play the guitar and Daniel plays songs on the piano but guitars can produce sounds as good as the piano. The song was Next Plane Home. Er, hehe.. exactly what I wanted to say out loud.

He didn't know who the hell Daniel Powter was and called him "Daniel Pewter". Wow. Great English you have there, teach. He asked us if we brought a CD. Like every week, me and Taco would look at each other, weirdly. He said he couldn't teach us without knowing the tune or anything so he asked Taco to sing the starting to help him understand the tune.

She did. I thought she was gonna tell him some BS and not do it but she did. I asked her why later and she said she was being sporting. Haha! I was pretending to stare at the timetable behind the door the whole time. I saw Newt laughing or smiling. Revenge because she laughed at him maybe? Oh, well. He told us to bring a CD next week.

Instead, he taught us some oldies song called Kiss Me by Sixpence None The Richer. I think that's the complicated name. Came back home and found out the song was 12 years old. OMG? I was really disgusted when he began singing. I thought I was gonna laugh but I didn't because I didn't look at his face.

The fingering for the song was quite easy though Newt kept saying I wasn't pressing the strings hard enough and my strings were dead. I was!!! If that was an acoustic guitar, my fingers would have been chopped into pieces. I'm really annoyed because I hear this every week. I've been correcting it really hard during the holidays and this is what I get?!! This isn't helping at all. Yeah, Dad. I know you told us, "practice makes perfect".

Whatever.

I got more inspiration now, knowing that we are learning a song. I definitely know that Taco is feeling more determined now. That's something good, I hope. I'm looking forwards to the next lesson now.

Oh yes. Newt thinks I should get a softer pick because I'm strumming too loudly and the guitar pick is too hard. Ooookay. You win, Taco! Mom, does that mean we can get some new picks?? A Fender one, maybe?

The connection became slightly faster. Good.

I can't believe tomorrow is New Year's Eve Eve. Can't wait for fireworks. I love them. All the excitement like waiting for midnight.

Everyone is like, "OMG" because school is so close. I don't blame them. I hate school too. Thank God there are some cakes for recess. It should be good enough.

I'm not gonna meet Taco's friends or classmates because I don't think they're good influence. They do not sound or look nice. Their personalities do not please me. The way they act too. Just like.... (add an S behind).

But that's how everyone acts and dresses like nowadays, right? Not the shirt, the words.

We've been watching a few movies these days. Nice ones. Today we watched Desperate Measure. I think that's the movie name. I thought it was great and kinda exciting. It's crazy to see how desperate the guy is. He jumped down the bridge into the sea after the bad guy. I think Taco will explain about it in her movie week. Anyway, the ending was really unexpected and cooooool.

Not to mention, Taco loaded more SP videos. She'd do anything. I don't know why she wants to load live videos because all SP live shows are almost the same as the real song. Nice. OMG, OMG. This reminds me! We should watch New Year's concert on New Year's Eve. HAHA! Greaaaaaaat. I wonder if SP is doing a New Year's concert for this year. It'll be great to watch. Lovin' it. Totally. <3

I'm waiting for Crackface to go online but she isn't... this is such a pity. I don't wanna call her or anyone because it'll be awkward. Haha. I'm like Rivers. I'll hide behind a pillar when I see my friends next year. Nah. I think they'll do that though.

We went out and Taco said a clown was our guitar teacher! Her imagination is running really wild. First she claims that he's a DJ. Next a clown?! And next, a maid, maybe? Ok, we'll see then. We'll ask Newt to say what the clown said then we'll match it. Confirm it.

We've been keeping up with Melee Movie Mondays. I hate it because it's only a minute long. Still, it keeps me laughing all the time. The latest one was funny. They were laughing and saying, "Hi Melee. We're fans of yours." That's so crazy. I can't wait for the next one. I hope it'll keep me entertained every Monday.

it goes wuh-oh, right?

Cool. I made a mistake of logging out but I made it in! Perfectly.

I really wanted to post some pictures yesterday but the connection was really, really slow so I couldn't. I don't think I could now because it'll screw up everything.

Currently listening to Weezer's whole Make Believe album. It's all good.

I can't believe Call Of Duty is coming out with more sequels. I can't wait! Call Of Duty : Modern Warfare 2!!! I can wait forever. I'm thinking about playing CoD4 again because I miss playing it and I kinda forgot a little about it. I miss the shooting sounds.

Tomorrow, I really need to talk to some people. Ask them how they feel. Blah blah blah. Same old same. Exchange some crappy and useless news.

I have a confession to make now. I don't have a school bag. I totally forgot about it. I haven't cleaned my book shelves. New books will be replacing my old ones. My feelings about that? "Zzzz."

Am I looking forwards to next year, 2009?

No. And yes.

Because I totally hate school. I'm so not looking forwards to it. Stop of Weezer's whole album because Taco hates listening to Rivers dragging his words. I don't want to see my "friends". Like what I explained in the older post.

You've been very, um, supportive and backed us up in most of the things we wanted to do. Especially, um, about the whole guitar lesson thing. Thank you for not bringing us to as many cheap restaurants as you did last year. You can be a kick-ass dad when you want to be and I hope you'll stay kick-ass forever.
Cheez - my sister for life and not to mention 2nd best friend (the first would be myself). We've had less bad times this year and I hope it'll decrease as each day follows. MUAXXXXX. I love you loads. You already know that. D'oh. Thanks for sharing all the good and bad times and for hugging me so much this year when I had it bad. I can't understand how you can practice for like.. hours. I need to learn from you seriously or else I'll end up being a tard money wasting noobie. Melee - I <3 you guys. Chris, you are fabulante. Piano rocking guy who can play with his feet up. OMGod, right? Ryan, you're so hilarious. The things you do had me clutching at the stitches in my side. Keep rocking. Mike, you're the happiest drummer I've ever encountered. When I watched Built To Last and didn't know who you were at first, I was like, "My God, the guy is smiling." I hardly see Chuck or Eddie Fisher smile while drumming. Ricky, you know you rock. Another pro guitarist. I love how you constantly find time to update your blog to keep the fans hooked on what's new and stuff. The pictures you take are great and I seriously l-o-v-e your hair and shades. Too cool. I ate my ice cream Ricky style today. If Cheez would be so kind as to post the picture of him eating the ice cream.
Katy Perry - I sound so lesbian because you're the only female I talk about so often besides my mom and Cheez but that's okay. Everyone is a bit bisexual, don't you think? Katy Perry - You're one crazy girl who does anything. I love your songs, though I don't usually listen to them.. I was definitely wrong to think you were some stupid les. The clothes and minidresses you wear are crazy and short. I think you're really cute. You sound very nice and I honestly think you would make a good friend. Melee - You guys are also one of the craziest people on Earth. I laughed myself silly when I watched your Melee Movie Mondays. Glad you began posting again because they're amazing and they're like medicine. Why? Laughing is always the best medicine. Chris, the best pianist. I can't believe you started playing at the age of 5! I love your songs tooooo. Ricky, you're a faithful blogger. That's something good to hear because you're always posting pictures and stuff. Songwriting is a great talent. You rock, definitely. Ryan and Mike, nerdy from the outside, crazy from the inside.
Green Day - I don't why I hated Billie Joe last time. Now I'm like..... I was so touched with his guitar story thing. I really can't rewrite the whole story here but I'm sure Taco has posted it before. Tre and Mike and Billie, you rock and keep rocking with your thick eyeliner or whatever.
Weezer - Surprise, surprise. One of my inspirations this year too! It's so weird. I'm mad about your songs. I listen to them everyday. Certain ones. Your songs lift me higher when I'm down. It's as good as yoga! Rivers and his band members are awesome and will be. I can't believe I called Pork And Beans some stupid song that I couldn't hear before all this. I take them back now. Hard Fi - Weird, balding band except for Richard. No offence but all your band members are totally weird. Richard makes addictive songs. Taco listened and watched Cash Machine with me for zillions of times in a day. Your songs are great too. I love them. The lyrics.... love y'all!
One Republic - Let's hope your next album will keep my head banging all day. Ryan, amazing songwriter and blah blah blah. Your videos are weird but I love your songs. Sometimes they bore me but still. I love, love, love your high voice and band members and Ryan.
