i believe the world is burning to the ground

Okay..

Uhh...

I know this is super outdated but I just read the story that the girl, who won the Interview Simple Plan thing, wrote.

When Cheez first told me about it - well, being her, she checks all the fan sites daily and reports to me because I don't know as many links as her- I said I didn't want to read it because I'm a vicious green eyed monster. If it's not me going to interview them, then I don't give a flying pancake who the person is or what the person is feeling (OVER THE MOON, duh!)

Okay.. um, back to the point.

What I thought about it.

It was um, in my very honest opinion, a very sweetened story. I have a very strong feeling that she spiced it up to make everyone cry and cry and CRY AND FRIGGING CRY over it. Uhhh.. I know you think I'm being freaking mean but that's what I think.

She writes about how sad and how she was grieving over her father's sickness. I mean, come on, I've read the whole sad sob story in story books and her article sounded exactly like one. And how she found out about Simple Plan and how meaningful their songs are. And then she started listening to them and everything and how she subscribed to their newsletter and saw that every now and then they had competitions. And how she didn't join because she figured they were an American based band and she's from the UK and all.

UM, WOMAN, EXCUSE MEH BUT SIMPLE PLAN IS CANADIAN.

And so you claim you checked out every bit of info about them.

Riiiight.

I'm sure you misspelled Canada as American. Honey, WE FORGIVE YOU TOTALLY.

Call me mean or evil or twisted or cold blooded or not compassionate or black hearted, I don't care because if you'd rather digest it all in and say she deserved to get the interview.. then WHATEVER.

Please, okaaaay? I'm sure other people have been through that. Why don't they get the chance to interview SP? Because their story wasn't touching enough or maybe because they didn't like them?

Being very honest and open here.

I believe she went through a hard time but why do you need to JOIN A COMPETITION to tell everyone how much pain you went through? To get free tickets? To show everyone that you're champion writer? To get a MASSIVE hug from DAVID FOR BEING THROUGH A HARD TIME? TO TALK TO PIERRE PERSONALLY AND SO THAT HE'LL DEDICATE 'SAVE YOU' TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY? I wonder..

This competition, I feel, is rigged. How can they put up such a competition? How will you be able to choose? Different people have had different experiences and going through the painful times is hard for everyone so how would you know who has suffered the most, who deserves to be the winner, who hasn't had the most pain, who has mourned the longest, who has buried themselves and listened to Simple Plan the most?

In this case, I think everyone who has joined the competition and watched a loved one go through cancer should get to interview SP.

My imagination and thoughts run far and deep so don't blame me if I hurt your feelings or feel as if I mistreated you. I tend to think the other way round. To wonder if you have a twisted side to yourself. To wonder if you're really being positive. To doubt because not everyone is pure hearted. Because who knows what runs in your mind? Unless you're Edward Cullen who is a fictional character, your thoughts and deep dark secrets are stored within yourself and will not be known unless you say it out.

Am I right?

you hate the way your life turned out to be

Hearing that we'll be quitting soon, I don't wanna be a dropout who just dropped out and ended everything. No. I feel determined to continue, lessons or not.

Back to reading stuff on guitar websites... I'm gonna regret doing this but maybe, just maybe, it'll work and knock some sense into my head. I have no idea if a miracle will just happen like that but I hope it will.

Why am I doing this?

Once we quit guitar lessons, we'll never be able to go back because the teacher might not be so nice to you. He'll probably ask you why you wanna join again and if you don't come up with an answer, he'll never let go. Yeah, so I guess that's why I'm doing this for the sake of not wasting money and wasting our time. I don't want to hate guitars for the rest of my life because I was a drop out.

Yes, maybe you don't care if you quit or not but I strongly disagree with dropping out then just leaving it there. What will the guitar do after that then? Sit around and rot? Get blamed for being such a stupid thing? Won't you miss it now and then? Even if you don't, just a little? Slowly, you'll think back and wish you didn't stop. You worked for something you wanted to do badly but not hard enough and you just quit like that?

I think I don't want that to happen to me. I'm still dreaming of that sleek and black, acoustic and rhythm Takamine guitar in Seb's hands and that Fender guitar with the delicious looking logo on the headstock. I'm still wondering when I'll be able to slide my hand up and down the guitar neck smoothly like Jeff and playing songs I love to listen to and me, making nice music with that acoustic guitar we have.

Is that what I really want until I don't want to let go or let it be another wasted effort?

Many people may find it easy to learn from the internet. No, I'm not them. I don't understand what the hell is going on and what everyone is trying to tell me. I'm planning to re-read them. I have to understand it or I'll get more pressure. I find this harder than studying, actually. There's so much research to do and so many things we have to learn to understand.

Well, if the teacher had put more effort, we would be continuing and playing songs like a genius. Isn't that why teachers are here? To help their students master what they want to do and grant their wishes? No. Newt isn't. He's here to pretend to teach us and get the money. I don't know what he's doing on Earth because all I know, he's acting like a grain of rice sitting there. He's not here to help his students or teach them something. He doesn't care if they have interests or anything because he's already gotten his wish. He can play the guitar anytime he wants while changing chords swiftly and play it while looking at the sky.

He starts the lesson late and ends it ten minutes before the right time. What does he really do in class? He asks us to practice whatever he taught us, the week before. He leaves the classroom and goes out to chat and laugh with his friends while we're inside playing the same thing over and over for twenty minutes. He comes back in to make sure we got it right then he continues to the next lesson. He teaches whatever it is until we get it. He asks us to practice the new thing and goes out. He comes back with a big puff of smoke which immediately stinks up the whole room, suffocating both of us. He corrects our mistakes and jeers at my fingers which aren't curling in the right way. Sometimes, he'll bring in his own guitar and show off his stupid skills while we're practicing. Yeah, we know you're so god damn smart already. He asks us to pack up because it's already time. We look at the clock and it's always five or ten minutes before the class even ends.

Don't even bother asking us to look for another teacher because there aren't any who will accept two students at a time. They say our levels are different. Right. That reminds me of art class last time. We were told to sit away from each other because we couldn't be sharing paint forever. When I heard that, the first word that came to my mind was - NO.

Sure, I hate practicing but that doesn't mean I don't like playing it. It just sickens me to think about practicing and all that stress everyone is putting on us. The world is getting heavier with all that. I like playing but I will like it even more if I can play songs. And yes, I know what everyone is gonna tell me after that. I know everyone is desperate for us to play songs but......

I don't even think I'll read all those stuff again since nobody really cares though I would love to play a song for you if I could. I don't think we'll let it go like that. Though, honestly, I don't think anyone gives a shiz.. it'll probably become another wasted effort. I think I'll just keep dreaming on.

it goes wuh-oh, right?

Cool. I made a mistake of logging out but I made it in! Perfectly.

I really wanted to post some pictures yesterday but the connection was really, really slow so I couldn't. I don't think I could now because it'll screw up everything.

Currently listening to Weezer's whole Make Believe album. It's all good.

I can't believe Call Of Duty is coming out with more sequels. I can't wait! Call Of Duty : Modern Warfare 2!!! I can wait forever. I'm thinking about playing CoD4 again because I miss playing it and I kinda forgot a little about it. I miss the shooting sounds.

Tomorrow, I really need to talk to some people. Ask them how they feel. Blah blah blah. Same old same. Exchange some crappy and useless news.

I have a confession to make now. I don't have a school bag. I totally forgot about it. I haven't cleaned my book shelves. New books will be replacing my old ones. My feelings about that? "Zzzz."

Am I looking forwards to next year, 2009?

No. And yes.

Why no??

Because I totally hate school. I'm so not looking forwards to it. Stop of Weezer's whole album because Taco hates listening to Rivers dragging his words. I don't want to see my "friends". Like what I explained in the older post.

I knew you knew when I was being naughty and nice. And I enjoyed this year's ups and downs (downs not so much). I think this year was probably better than the last and we both know why or how. Long talks, simple conversations or even just a brief talk - I appreciate it. Really. Sorry for everything bad I've done. Never meant to hurt you. Thank you for everything you've done - taking us out, cooking scrumptious meals, being generous and you know what you did. OMG, feeling so emotional now. This is pathetic. Honestly.
My dad - Dad, I appreciate everything you've done but could you please try being a little more sensitive? Yeah... okay, I guess I still love you as much as I did. You've been very, um, supportive and backed us up in most of the things we wanted to do. Especially, um, about the whole guitar lesson thing. Thank you for not bringing us to as many cheap restaurants as you did last year. You can be a kick-ass dad when you want to be and I hope you'll stay kick-ass forever.
Cheez - my sister for life and not to mention 2nd best friend (the first would be myself). We've had less bad times this year and I hope it'll decrease as each day follows. MUAXXXXX. I love you loads. You already know that. D'oh. Thanks for sharing all the good and bad times and for hugging me so much this year when I had it bad. I enjoyed every single time we laughed and did corny things and heehaw-ed at dumbos and had fun and talked about stupid things that didn't matter to anyone but both of us. This glowing feeling I get inside every single time I think about the fun we had at the concert ain't going away just yet. Hope it lasts for this lifetime. It was the best day I could ask for even if we stood outside for hours and practically stood for 10 hours or so. It was all worth it and at the end of the day, I was the happiest girl on the face of this Earth. You guys are something special and you hold a special fraction of space in my heart. Hugs and kisses. Simple Plan - How could I have ever said you guys were just another rock band? I take it all back. I love you guys. Your music heals the broken souls honestly. There's so much honesty and truth in your songs which makes everything seem not as bad as it should be. Pierre, even though I said I thought David should sing more parts, I still love your voice and wise cracks. Jeff, you're my guitar hero #2 after Sebastien. You pro! I can't understand how you can practice for like.. hours. I need to learn from you seriously or else I'll end up being a tard money wasting noobie. David, aw, you're the sweetie and you're such a funny guy. I love you. Like so much. Like I don't know how many football fields.. maybe an eternity of them. You really need to work on a new wardrobe though - shirts and ties = . :O Sebastien, <3! First I fell in love with your name and everyday before I found out who you were I would just randomly say, "Sebastien." And then I saw your pic and was omgyou'recute and talented and funny and humble and everything nice. You always manage to look good in everything and your smile is gorgeous, gorgeous. So yeah. I love you loads. Chuck, drummer dude. I can't say I love you but I really like you. You're so responsible and determined to win the fight between you and Pierre. I admire your courage, no joke. You're a cool drummer too and that's a good thing.
Adam and James from Maroon 5 - Awesome pair. Love the interviews with both of you. Love the songs you write, music you make and whatever. Adam, you really rock. James, you're a frigging awesome guitarist and I love your hair. Cuties!
Melee - I <3 you guys. Chris, you are fabulante. Piano rocking guy who can play with his feet up. OMGod, right? Ryan, you're so hilarious. The things you do had me clutching at the stitches in my side. Keep rocking. Mike, you're the happiest drummer I've ever encountered. When I watched Built To Last and didn't know who you were at first, I was like, "My God, the guy is smiling." I hardly see Chuck or Eddie Fisher smile while drumming. Ricky, you know you rock. Another pro guitarist. I love how you constantly find time to update your blog to keep the fans hooked on what's new and stuff. The pictures you take are great and I seriously l-o-v-e your hair and shades. Too cool. I ate my ice cream Ricky style today. If Cheez would be so kind as to post the picture of him eating the ice cream.
Katy Perry - I sound so lesbian because you're the only female I talk about so often besides my mom and Cheez but that's okay. Everyone is a bit bisexual, don't you think? Write more songs, make more music and make sure everyone knows women are smarter. Heehee. You're such a watermelon. David+Katy 4eva. It'll be my secret wish for both of you to be an item. Mission to Mars had me sobbing like a freak behind my cushion. You're a faboolous actor. Danny (Carmine Giovinazzo), thumbs up to ya all the way. Ah, dang. I'm too lazy to list out the rest. Lindsay is a tough cookie, Stella is a very cool, chic detective, Flack is a debonair cop, Hawkes, Sid.. okay, you know the rest of the characters.
One Republic - OOH, how could I forget about you guys? Ryan, <3! <3! <3! Breathtaking vocal performances. That green jacket you've got is the hottest thing. Brent, I wish I could play a cello too. Eddie, um, good drummer. Drew and Zach, .

Backstreet Boys - I don't know what made you guys wanna come here but it's awesome. Standing for seven hours was kinda worth it, wasn't it? And seriously fun. Seeing the place where you performed is definitely emotional. You gave me great memories. Sadly I didn't know cameras were allowed so... no pictures, no memories? Nah. As long as it's in my head and I know it. Too bad you didn't have any autograph sessions. I was so bummed out. I practically screamed my lungs out and had a good time. The protests before it was great too. I'm really one in a million. You probably didn't notice the small group of nobodies waving up to you because there were so many other people there.. I can't believe we missed out so many things you guys did when you were here. Never mind.. What's done is done. Anyway, your songs are great and the meanings are great. You're good songwriters. All your songs rock, including the bonus tracks. I can't wait for you to start on your next album. I love and miss you guys everyday.
Simple Plan - What can I say? Everyone in the band totally rocks. You are one of my biggest inspirations. Your songs have many truths and have great meanings. To Pierre.. you're a great songwriter and you're very talented. Like you said it yourself - you're just a loser who got lucky. Yeah. Keep composing songs because I'm loving every word of your lyrics. To Chuck.. you're a.. professional hockey player? I would love to be like you and adopt that keep-going-on inspiration you have for everything. Good luck on finding a girlfriend. To Sebastien.. um, you're my guitar hero. You got me to express my love for guitars because I always admired and wanted to play a guitar. I know. That's sounds so cheesy. I wanted to play a guitar when I was younger but I probably thought it was never gonna happen so it just disappeared from my mind until today. Not a confession. I always loved admiring instruments. To David.. you're totally A.D.D. Your craziness keeps me laughing from time to time. You have a great accent or whatever you call it. Your love for your sister is very touching. It makes you wanna go, aww! To Jeff.. you look mature but I don't think you are from what I'm seeing in videos. I think you're a great father and husband. I seriously, honestly, totally admire your consistancy. I'm so, so, so jealous because you love practicing your guitar. To Pat.. make more videos about them and not yourself and continue to be idiotic. Your vlogs are awesome and they keep me entertained. You should definitely make more with your new video camera, David. I'm gonna get their next album without hesitation. Love all your down-to-earth attitude, silliness and charity work. Katy Perry - You're one crazy girl who does anything. I love your songs, though I don't usually listen to them.. I was definitely wrong to think you were some stupid les. The clothes and minidresses you wear are crazy and short. I think you're really cute. You sound very nice and I honestly think you would make a good friend. Continue to make great albums with great music videos. Hugs and kisses.
Maroon 5 - Adam, you're a very sweet person and you make good music. Catchy chorus and beats. You are seriously amazing. James equals cute! D'oh. You have a frigging nice and deep voice. Your long hair is nice too. Guitar solos are always the best parts of a guitarist. Maroon 5, I love the music you make and you should have more albums every year. From your two fans with love.
Melee - You guys are also one of the craziest people on Earth. I laughed myself silly when I watched your Melee Movie Mondays. Glad you began posting again because they're amazing and they're like medicine. Why? Laughing is always the best medicine. Chris, the best pianist. I can't believe you started playing at the age of 5! I love your songs tooooo. Ricky, you're a faithful blogger. That's something good to hear because you're always posting pictures and stuff. Songwriting is a great talent. You rock, definitely. Ryan and Mike, nerdy from the outside, crazy from the inside.
Green Day - I don't why I hated Billie Joe last time. Now I'm like..... I was so touched with his guitar story thing. I really can't rewrite the whole story here but I'm sure Taco has posted it before. Tre and Mike and Billie, you rock and keep rocking with your thick eyeliner or whatever.
Weezer - Surprise, surprise. One of my inspirations this year too! It's so weird. I'm mad about your songs. I listen to them everyday. Certain ones. Your songs lift me higher when I'm down. It's as good as yoga! Rivers and his band members are awesome and will be. I can't believe I called Pork And Beans some stupid song that I couldn't hear before all this. I take them back now. Love yaaaaaaa.
Hard Fi - Weird, balding band except for Richard. No offence but all your band members are totally weird. Richard makes addictive songs. Taco listened and watched Cash Machine with me for zillions of times in a day. Your songs are great too. I love them. The lyrics.... love y'all!
One Republic - Let's hope your next album will keep my head banging all day. Ryan, amazing songwriter and blah blah blah. Your videos are weird but I love your songs. Sometimes they bore me but still. I love, love, love your high voice and band members and Ryan.

God, the video Animax made for I Can Wait Forever?

It sucks like shiz.

I think SP made a huge mistake of letting them make a video.

Everything was practically spinning round and round, so I couldn't really see anything.

The characters weren't similar. I don't know why people say the characters and the band members have similarities.

Firstly, "Pierre Bouvier" in the video looked like some monkey God. What's with that awful dead hair colour? Pierre does not look like that. He has dark brown hair.

The "David Desrosiers" certainly does not look like him in reality. The hairstyle looks more like Pierre's in reality.

"Jeff Stinco"? Well, he has no hair so there's not much difference. I don't remember him putting on that face though.

"Sebastien Lefebvre".. He does not have red-brown hair, ok? He also does not look like that.

The "Chuck Comeau" has dark brown hair. Sure, he had brown hair when the band was new.That's past tense.

Who the hell was the obnoxious female character in the video? Totally obscene pictures. Like Taco said, she had two mountains as her chest. Not to mention, she had two more behind. Yeah and they showed it twice?

Who was riding the bike like that Danity Kane video? That's seriously l-a-m-e.

The so-called "Simple Plan" in t-t-the video were shooting someone but there was nothing?

The ending? The female was wearing a bikini? What the hell? She's reaching her hand out to Chuck Pierre or something? Oh well, half the video, she was in some tube thing.

Freaking ridiculous.

I think SP would've made a better video themselves without LaMB's help.

before you throw my heart back on the floor

I have a really bad feeling about this.. I just watched this very short interview with SP. You know Animax LaMB thing. It also has a very short trailer of I Can Wait Forever animated video.

God, I don't think it'll be the best. I mean, animated Japanese doll/drawing videos. That's gonna be so ew. The pictures won't be that perfect. I'm betting on that. Imagine what Pierre will look like. If they even drew SP in it. All I know is the video isn't gonna be the best of everything. The trailer showed some buildings at night and someone riding a bike, trying to act cool. Err...

The interview was interesting because I haven't watched SP interviews in weeks. Probably because I might have watched them all or a certain video can't be found. As usual, David hardly spoke.

The first question was, "Who would you wait for forever?" Something like that. Obviously they answered for someone they love. Except for Jeff because he's married. He said he'll wait for David forever to get out of bed because David is always late. Haha! David didn't even bother to do or say anything except laugh.

The second and last question was, "What would you do if you had a lamb?" They all agreed to doing all their chores. Chuck said he would like the lamb to drive him around because he doesn't have a driver's licence. L-O-L! David didn't say anything.. again. I think if I had a lamb, I would use it to get free cotton wool and clothing. When I'm satisfied, I'll turn it into lamb chop! Joking. I love animals so I don't think I would do such a thing.

Seb's hair looks very interesting in that video. As interesting as his current hair. Cute! <333 Pierre is waiting for Mom. Duh! This video isn't posted recently, FYi. Of course, they all still look as good.

Speaking of them, today and yesterday I saw some really AWESOME hats and man, I wanted them all. I kept asking Mom to get me one but she asked whatever for? I guess I probably won't wear them out but it'll be fantastic to start a hat/cap collection.

I saw some hats which are similar to David's. Then I saw some caps which looks like the one Seb is wearing in the pic below. Gaz in COD4 also wore one. So I WANT ONE. Boohoo!
