I’m swept away by love
Shape Of My Heart - Backstreet Boys
Kevin is back! Yay! Been waiting for this moment since the day I read that he left the band.
Also, if it's true that AJ and his wife are expecting their first child, Congrats!!
i wanna walk away too

The end of February marks the anniversary of our very first concert.
The first concert that we ever attended was the Backstreet Boys' concert. Being huge BSB fans, we didn't really have to persuade Mom to let us go to the concert. In fact, Mom wanted to go as well. See how it helps to have the same taste in music as your mom?
It was one of the best days in my life even if we did have to stand in the rain for hours. My feet were aching at the end of the day and I think my voice was sore from all that screaming but going to a Backstreet Boys concert is really worth all the blisters and sore throats that follows after the concert. They're the real deal, I'm telling you. You don't go to their concert to listen to auto-tuned voices or lip-syncing or to be awed by extravagant backdrops or glitzy costumes. It's pure vocal power.
I know the lyrics to all their songs except a few on their latest album This Is Us. Their style has somewhat changed since Unbreakable (my favorite album) and I can't say that I dig their new music.
Hope they go experiment a little but stay true to their original stuff.
C and I celebrate our BSB concert anniversary annually by scribbling the date onto the posters we collected from the concert. Good times.
i think you’re perfect

I'm so bored, I might even try playing Assassin's Creed.
Not to mention, I have nothing to write about and I don't want to insert pictures into my top ten because I'm running out of pictures. Maybe when my collection restocks. I'm sorry. I'm not doing the top ten for the sake of it. I actually listen to these songs. But I just don't have any entertaining things to say or any interesting pictures to put.

You hate that you love him so.
when everything’s about to change
Like or not.

1. Low Shoulder - Through The Trees
I'm still here breathing now
until I'm set free
Go quiet through the trees

And I broke down crying, was she worth this mess?
After everything and that little black dress
After everything I must confess, I need you
3. Adam Lambert - If I Had You
Yeah if I had you, then money, fame and fortune never could compete
4. One Republic - Secrets
This time, don’t need another perfect line
Don’t care if critics never jump in line

Sealed with love, open the door and I'll walk right beside you
My Sierra, I'll give you more than a shoulder to cry
6. Lady GaGa - Bad Romance

I want your revenge
You and me could write a bad romance
7. Little Boots - Remedy
Move while you’re watching me dance with the enemy
I've got a remedy oh uh oh uh oh
8. Jesse McCartney - Come To Me
You can just be yourself,
'Cause I don't want nobody else.
All of your secrets are safe with me.
For the kind of love you can trust,
For more than just a crush,
Baby, why don't you just come to me?
9. Boys Like Girls - Someone Like You
So, sing me a song,
I know all the words to,
And I'll sing along,
Could you be my savior?
10. Backstreet Boys - Shattered
And now I'm shattered,
(From the chip in my heart, kept taking it till it broke)

What comes after their self-titled album? Simple Plan and their new album! I can't wait for the album because from what Chuck and Pierre keep Tweeting now and then, it sounds pretty interesting. Also because we've been waiting for, what, two years already.
Then, there's AAR. They said they're gonna try to write an album together. You know, after their fight, they might have a little difficulties. I don't know but I'm hoping it'll be a really good one. Hopefully, they'll release it by the end of this year.
And Linkin Park? Definitely. More songs like New Divide and Leave Out All The Rest. I don't like the noisy screaming and rap-like songs. Hey, but they're not as bad as everyone thinks. I bet they'll have a song on Transformers 3.
Miss - oops, I mean, soon-to-be Mrs - Katy Perry is working with Ryan Tedder on her next album. Awesome pair! Ryan is good with anyone and all the songs he writes is just simple but amazing. Better vocal performance, maybe, Katy? And more lovable songs like I Kissed A Girl, please. Don't keep us waiting.
Maroon 5, please don't break up. Please, please, please. I'm willing to wait for album if you're not breaking up. They're all such great people. Their album should be ready by early 2010, says Wikipedia. I can't wait. I'm not expecting anything less from their new album.
What name comes before Departure? Jesse McCartney. Duh. What were you thinking? It seems like he's done with a few songs. He says it's like a continuation for Departure. Bleh. He should definitely sing more songs like Right Where You Want Me. Okay, whatever. I can't wait.
Oh, guess who else? Yes, Taylor Swift. Everyone is wild for her and everyone expects the best from her. Breakup, makeup, heartbreaks, unnoticed love songs.
This is for T, since I don't listen to Lifehouse. Lifehouse FTW for her! A new album this year, I think.
I don't know why, but I think I'll wait for Hard Fi's and Matchbox 20's new album this year. Hard Fi isn't that bad but hopefully there are some songs I can actually listen to. Go, Rob Thomas, for Matchbox 20! Their songs are so cute and nice. So, yeah.

BTW, Happy Birthday, Justin Timberlake!
You rock since N'sync.
Keep donating to charity because it's a really, really good deed. Keep rocking and dancing!

Did I promise top five music videos? Wait... Nah, I didn't.
Maybe later on this (or next?) week if I can find some me time. It's hard to find some nowadays. Since stupid activities are occupying everything and I feel so bad for leaving my dog to be lonely.
I will write a book review for Reflex (Jumper 2) and a game review for Batman : Arkham Asylum soon. When I'm free, of course.
Currently reading : Terminator Salvation.
Currently listening to : N'sync - I Want You Back.
By the way, Ronan Keating's Stay is a pretty good song. You should really go listen to it.
BTW (again), have you listened Tonight Is Your Night by Jesse McCartney? Someone leaked the song on the internet. Oh, he swears in the song. That's so cool. o_O

I'm sorry I didn't include anything entertaining like pictures for my top ten because I'm feeling so depressed about tomorrow.
Tomorrow is the starting of boredom and lifeless lives. We're probably gonna be busy until we figure out what's gonna happen for the next few weeks. Not such a good way to start 2010's first weekday, huh? But you could always read our older posts.
Screw education, dang it. Here's what I will be at the end of the week - depressed, sad, emotional, tired, busy, stressed, sleepy, deprived. I'll probably smash a pillow over my head and sleep. Maybe I'll even start hating exams and stop studying. Everyone should go on an exam strike - ignore exam papers and refuse to answer. I've been watching too much Dr. Dolittle..
I lost my MP3 too. How sad is that? How am I gonna survive the Sundays I hate?
Send my love to the dancefloor, I'll see you in hell.
- Cobra Starship.
and i just thought i should tell you, baby
My ten favorite songs and why I like them.
1. Taylor Swift - Jump Then Fall
[The lyrics are so nice, I gotta love the song and the guitar parts. And also because the song isn't overplayed or overrated. She's a great songwriter and her songs are lovable but hearing You Belong With Me or Fifteen on the radio every day is not fun. People like songs then they twist their taste in music sometimes. Yes, we still love Taylor but I prefer her golden curls to her blonder, straightened hair.]
2. Backstreet Boys - Straight Through My Heart
[It's so old school compared to the other songs on their This Is Us album. My mom has been a big BSB fan since forever and she still is and that makes me proud to love their songs. I think it's the introduction of the song that attracts attention. It's so pop.]
3. Adam Lambert - For Your Entertainment
[Gosh, I don't know where to start. Maybe because my family is a huge fan of this song! It's so catchy, you can't hate it. Even my mom likes it. Who thought she would?! Not me! Adam's vocal performance is great. I love this song. Let's hope my dog will start liking it too!]
4. Cascada - Fever
[It's her second single from the Evacuate The Dancefloor album. I only like the verse. The chorus? Not so much. Only the verse catches my attention.]
5. One Republic - Secrets
[Because I'm such a big fan of them! I heard this song at McDonalds recently and my face lit up, literally. There was another time I heard their song in the car and I practically yelled, "Yes! This song!". How embarrassing..
]
6. Jesse McCartney - It's Over
[I have no idea why I like this song. I wasn't originally a big fan of his songs but nowadays, I can't stop listening to them. Oh, this is his favorite song! It's good to know that I like the same song as the singer himself.
I can't say his voice isn't good.. Well, I like this song. End of story.]
7. Maroon 5 - Makes Me Wonder
[This song brings back a few memories here and there. Also because I miss Maroon 5 and their songs. This is like our other vacation song. Makes Me Wonder has a catchy beat and the great guitar parts will make you crave for more.]
8. Ciara (ft. Justin Timberlake) - Love S-- Magic
[Excuse me for censoring the song name in such a way. It just feels inappropriate. Great song for a fashion show. It made me wanna dance to the beat. I love the beat. Ciara's a pretty good singer. And J.T? Great since N'sync. The music world should have more duets like these.]
9. All-American Rejects - Real World
[My all time favorite. How can I not like this song? It's so nice. I still listen to it.]
10. Simple Plan - When I'm Gone
[I love this song.. again.]

Top five music videos.

Well, I'm running out of time. I've been writing this post for two hours while multi-tasking. I would write more but I guess I'll have to save that for later. Watching music videos, loading songs, listening to music, Tweeting, talking, thinking, IM-ing while writing a post is definitely not something anyone would do.

That's all for this week. Tomorrow starts a new week.
add on, that I’m a coward
My blogging momentum has been swayed by the sweet temptation of books.

Yes. Another one of Susan Elizabeth Phillips's brilliant work of art. I honestly love her books and the Chicago Stars series even though the plots are almost similar. Somehow she always manages to write honest pieces of work which are believable and totally sweet. We even think along the same lines except she has actually written and published them out.
I love this book - Nobody's Baby But Mine. Dr Jane Darlington and Calvin Bonner. I love their smart-mouthed arguments and how Jane gets along so well with Annie. Not gonna spoil the story so I'm not going to do a full review but basically it's about Jane, who is a genius and a physicist, tricking Cal, the dumb jock, so that she can have a baby with a normal IQ without him knowing. When Cal, whom Jane assumed was stupid because of his pretty but supposedly dumb looks, finds out what she did, he becomes pissed and.. La-la-la. Go read the story yourself.
If any of you have read this, don't you think that Kevin Tucker is a cutie? I do.

The second one I'm done with is Match Me If You Can. Heath Champion (Heath D. Campione) and Annabelle Granger. Annabelle, if you read Natural Born Charmer, is Dean's best friend and this is the book where they first meet. Again, an amazing book. Very touching and full of emotion.
Heath (a.k.a The Python) is a sports agent and Annabelle is a matchmaker. She's been known to fail everything she does and her family do their best to convince her that she's a failure and she's better off becoming an accountant. Heath is 34 and looking for a wife. He has already hired a matchmaker, Portia Powers, to help him find a wife but does his best friend's wife, Molly a favor by seeing her friend who is also a matchmaker. That matchmaker would be Annabelle. And there begins the story of lots of ups and downs and convincing and heartache and also happiness. Read it if you want to know Heath's real name.
Have I mentioned that I think Pippi Tucker is really cute?
Although these two books have been incredibly wonderful and I had lots of Laugh-Out-Loud moments to myself, I still prefer Natural Born Charmer. Read my review on the main characters and whatnot. When I read what I wrote a few months back, I wonder where I found all those words.

Dean Robillard and Blue Bailey appeal more to me because: 1. Dean is cooler than the rest. 2. Blue is cute and fragile and her disastrous fashion is hilarious. 3. The story feels.. personal. 4. The house is Nobody's Baby But Mine sounds creepy. 5. The Portia and Bodie parts in Match Me If You Can don't raise any interest in me. Yeah..that's it.
I'm starting on This Heart of Mine which is Kevin Tucker's story but it's irritating me for some reason. I think one of the reasons is because her name is Molly Somerville. The name Molly brings up an image of a plain woman in my mind and that's not catchy at all. I don't know what made me relate that to the name but it's there. Another reason is because the story is almost the same as Nobody's Baby But Mine. I think I need something to drift the similarities apart and that something is taking a break from this book and reading something else. And.. Molly is Phoebe Calebow's sister and Phoebe does have her bitchy moments in Match Me If You Can.
I'm now getting an itchy obsession for somebody to draw Dean and Blue out on paper so that I can 'see' them. But I can't draw and people won't know how I'm imagining them in my head. The pain of not being an artist.

Oh, I just remembered that I didn't write about Heaven, Texas. Sweet old Gracie Snow and country bad boy Bobby Tom Denton. I didn't really read the whole thing because my eyes blurred after a while and I didn't pick it up after that. From what I've read, the shy, plain Gracie manages to grab the football star's attention and all I've got to say to beautiful girls is, "Plain but nice chicks are magnets too."

Listening to Backstreet Boys - Masquerade. It sounds a bit like 3Oh!3's Starstrukk, I almost expect the Boys to whistle Whoohoo! :/

I changed my mind. I want a Dean Robillard of my own !!
