an entertainment to remember

Yes, we are the latest Adam Lambert fans, but that's old news anyway. We've been loving him ever since we became obsessed with his first single, "For Your Entertainment" and his songs never seem to get old now. It seems that we have influenced a mom to fall in love with Adam, not only with his looks or songs, but also his voice.

We've been watching Adam's interviews every night now. And there we have it, a new hobby picked up. His voice is not only amazing when he sings, but it's equally amazing when he speaks. It would be great if everyone spoke like him because his words are so clear, so listening isn't a problem.

It's great to see that every generation can become fans of modern music. That's how I keep my weekdays upbeat and interesting. So, tell a parent how amazing your favorite singer is and get down on the dance floor to not only bond with your family, but to have fun as well.

we rock the satellites

Is it just me or does the radio channel change whenever I hear a song I like?

Maybe because of my really, really bad taste of music. Or you just hate the kind of music I like.

I realize I like some songs other people hate. Like it or not, here is my top ten.

One - Lady Gaga (ft. Beyonce)
Telephone

Two - One Republic
All The Right Moves

Three - Michael Learns To Rock
You Took My Heart Away

Four - Boys Like Girls
Contagious

Five - All American Rejects
Gives You Hell

Six - Adam Lambert
Pick U Up

Seven - Little Boots
New In Town

Eight - Low Shoulder
Through The Trees

Nine - Weezer
Perfect Situation

Ten - Jesse McCartney
It's Over

x

Did I mention I hate the remake of We Are The World?

Totally unoriginal because of the unknown new singers. What's up with the synthesized voices too? Hey, no Stevie Wonder or Michael Jackson, no good, okay?

x

What do you call a person obsessed with long sleeves?

The obsession starts only if you look good in them.

x

The review, coming soon.

The game, craving for it now.

Must. Control. Argh.

x

Later.

I'm so bored, I might even try playing Assassin's Creed.

Not to mention, I have nothing to write about and I don't want to insert pictures into my top ten because I'm running out of pictures. Maybe when my collection restocks. I'm sorry. I'm not doing the top ten for the sake of it. I actually listen to these songs. But I just don't have any entertaining things to say or any interesting pictures to put.

x

You hate that you love him so.

you’re beautiful, it’s true

It seems like the journey to the end of the rainbow where the pot of gold is taking forever.

I can't wait till I finally see the end. I hope it'll be soon.

x

As you all might have noticed (for those who actually still read this), I've been really busy. I've been piled with homework and nothing else. I'll probably be free the next few weeks so wait for more posts.

These are the few things that summarize my week.

Ugh, so overrated.

Happy Saturday!

See you folks.

when everything’s about to change

Like or not.

1. Low Shoulder - Through The Trees
I'm still here breathing now
until I'm set free
Go quiet through the trees

2. Taylor Swift - The Other Side Of The Door
And I broke down crying, was she worth this mess?
After everything and that little black dress
After everything I must confess, I need you

3. Adam Lambert - If I Had You
Yeah if I had you, then money, fame and fortune never could compete

4. One Republic - Secrets
This time, don’t need another perfect line
Don’t care if critics never jump in line
I’m gonna give all my secrets away

5. All-American Rejects - Sierra's Song
Sealed with love, open the door and I'll walk right beside you
My Sierra, I'll give you more than a shoulder to cry

6. Lady GaGa - Bad Romance
I want your love and
I want your revenge
You and me could write a bad romance

7. Little Boots - Remedy
Move while you’re watching me dance with the enemy
I've got a remedy oh uh oh uh oh

8. Jesse McCartney - Come To Me
You can just be yourself,
'Cause I don't want nobody else.
All of your secrets are safe with me.
For the kind of love you can trust,
For more than just a crush,
Baby, why don't you just come to me?

9. Boys Like Girls - Someone Like You
So, sing me a song,
I know all the words to,
And I'll sing along,
Could you be my savior?

10. Backstreet Boys - Shattered
And now I'm shattered,
(From the chip in my heart, kept taking it till it broke)

What comes after their self-titled album? Simple Plan and their new album! I can't wait for the album because from what Chuck and Pierre keep Tweeting now and then, it sounds pretty interesting. Also because we've been waiting for, what, two years already.

Then, there's AAR. They said they're gonna try to write an album together. You know, after their fight, they might have a little difficulties. I don't know but I'm hoping it'll be a really good one. Hopefully, they'll release it by the end of this year.

And Linkin Park? Definitely. More songs like New Divide and Leave Out All The Rest. I don't like the noisy screaming and rap-like songs. Hey, but they're not as bad as everyone thinks. I bet they'll have a song on Transformers 3.

Miss - oops, I mean, soon-to-be Mrs - Katy Perry is working with Ryan Tedder on her next album. Awesome pair! Ryan is good with anyone and all the songs he writes is just simple but amazing. Better vocal performance, maybe, Katy? And more lovable songs like I Kissed A Girl, please. Don't keep us waiting.

Maroon 5, please don't break up. Please, please, please. I'm willing to wait for album if you're not breaking up. They're all such great people. Their album should be ready by early 2010, says Wikipedia. I can't wait. I'm not expecting anything less from their new album.

What name comes before Departure? Jesse McCartney. Duh. What were you thinking? It seems like he's done with a few songs. He says it's like a continuation for Departure. Bleh. He should definitely sing more songs like Right Where You Want Me. Okay, whatever. I can't wait.

Oh, guess who else? Yes, Taylor Swift. Everyone is wild for her and everyone expects the best from her. Breakup, makeup, heartbreaks, unnoticed love songs.

This is for T, since I don't listen to Lifehouse. Lifehouse FTW for her! A new album this year, I think.

I don't know why, but I think I'll wait for Hard Fi's and Matchbox 20's new album this year. Hard Fi isn't that bad but hopefully there are some songs I can actually listen to. Go, Rob Thomas, for Matchbox 20! Their songs are so cute and nice. So, yeah.

x

BTW, Happy Birthday, Justin Timberlake!

You rock since N'sync. :D Keep donating to charity because it's a really, really good deed. Keep rocking and dancing!

throwing pebbles, screaming i’m in love with you

Guess who turns twenty-eight today?

That's right.

Adam Lambert!

Happy Birthday, Adam! Have a good one. :D

We, the fans, love you for being the amazing singer you are! (Though, I wish you wouldn't wear so much guyliner or go for manicures.)

x

Top ten tomorrow.. I think.

We-ell, I guess that's all. I guess I just wanted to wish Adam Lambert a happy birthday since I usually do, to other celebrities/singers/band members.

Later. :)

baby, you know that maybe it’s time for miracles

How I spent my weekends healing my muscle aches.

It was surprising how the TV can suddenly crank out some really interesting movies. And coincidentally, I'm always there. Hm, I don't mind watching stupid movies. All I want is to make my cranky mood disappear and my horrible muscle aches to go away.

Becoming Jane is about Jane Austen and her (love)life. I thought it was.. emotional. I mean, I didn't expect much.

Dirty Rotten Scoundrels is a movie you should watch. It's an old movie starring Steve Martin and Michael Caine. It's so smart yet so silly. I love how sweet and naive the girl is to both of them but actually she's the real con-woman. I would definitely watch it again. 22-year-old movie, heh.

Before she was Bella and not so  . Catch That Kid is like a kiddies' movie, I know but I felt like wasting my time so that's how I ended up watching 1/4 of the movie. I had to laugh at some silly parts though. Okay, I am weird.

Head Over Heels, one of my favorites last time. How can you resist the charming grin on Freddie Prinze Jr's face? LOL. Enjoyable movie that even made my dad laugh.

Where The Red Fern Grows is that dog movie I reviewed before. I couldn't bear to watch the whole thing because I would start bawling before the sad parts.

Then, Deadly Encounter. It's about some crazy guy following this woman for a stupid reason. I expected an exciting ending but it wasn't much of an excitement. I had to flinch at some slightly disturbing scenes.

x

My girlfriend told me she doesn't like Adam Lambert's Whataya Want From Me and I was totally horrified.

How can she not like the song? I mean, it was love at first sound for me when I heard it. And the guitar parts are so catchy. I never imagined someone not liking the song. Puh-lease, my mom likes it, okay? I'm so in love with the song now. And the video, of course.

I was horrified at that and my friends were horrified at me. Because I told them I thought Adam Lambert was hot. He is, in a different way! T and I were shrieking at his good looks in his latest video until we were told to shut up.

It's okay if you don't like the song. Now I can have it all to myself! :D

x

Music got me back into my good mood.

But I really prefer it this way - just me and music, music and me, alone.

It's funny how my playlist communicates with me by guessing the song I want to listen, making me smile through the whole song until I realize it's just coincidence or just me, hoping too much. Sometimes it scares me how it just hits the bulls' eye without missing a beat. It's as if it understands my feelings like a horse does.

A few of my favorite songs made my day and it's that easy.

It really feels so good to smile. I wish more people would make me smile, though.

Oh, I'mma do the top ten for this week during the weekends. I should include the 2010 albums I can't wait for as well before they're all released. And I really hope this post is .. satisfying. BTW, I love Michael Learns To Rock. Do you?

x

Pwetty. (:

Did you put that smile on my face or was it just my imagination?

you took my heart away

Ooooh, baaaa! Said the little green men in Toy Story.

I kind of hate cupcakes but I like looking at them. Purple cupcakes are idealistic.

Okay, to cut to the chase, we haven't been blogging much because we've been busy, busy, busy! Really busy, I feel like flying off to another planet to take a breather. *exhales!

Sunday, I have never liked you much.

I left my heart homework on the dancefloor (so that people will step all over it and eventually it'll shred to pieces). HAHA. I'm a genius!

x

I'm having a karaoke session at home now. Saturday night, y'all.

She's gorgeous.

Guess whose? You got that right. Mine.

He is not frigging JUS*** BIE***.

I want and need a purse, preferably a Marc Jacobs one. (:

Basically, all my thoughts since I stopped blogging. Sufficient enough to keep you satiated for another week, I hope.

XOXO.

hey, slow it down

I finished playing Batman : Arkham Asylum yesterday.

The ending was great. I can't wait for the sequel. I really enjoyed playing the game, especially the sneaking around and taking down the baddies silently. I would definitely play it again in normal mode, not easy mode.

But it's not the same reason why I want to play Modern Warfare 2 again. It's because MW2 has eye candy realistic effects, great storyline and everything. Or maybe because I want to play all the maps alone without the help of others. I really don't know how to explain it but I just want to play it. Again.

I spent my morning playing Left 4 Dead 2. Awesomeness. I love playing as Ellis or Nick.

x

These days are just games, games, games.

I hardly listen to music. Only if someone plays some music, I'll just stay and listen.

x

Top 5.

Adam Lambert - Whataya Want From Me

Go watch the video! It's so nice and emotional. Very different compared to For Your Entertainment video. He looks good in that long-sleeved shirt he was wearing. And the colour of his eyes are the nicest I've ever seen. I love it when he doesn't gel his hair. I love this song.. of course.

T.I - Whatever You Like
I mean, I would love to have whatever I like. Don't you?

Simple Plan - When I'm Gone
Always awesome music video.

One Republic - Say (All I Need)
Love Ryan Tedder's Lacoste shoes.

Maroon 5 - Won't Go Home Without You
I love, love, love Adam's vest! It's so cute because it's connected to the shirt.

x

The weekends flew by again.

capture it, remember it

Ten songs, as I promised.

Adam Lambert - Music Again

Backstreet Boys - Last Night You Saved My Life

Simple Plan - Holding On

Linkin Park - Leave Out All The Rest

One Republic - Good Life

All American Rejects - Damn Girl

Taylor Swift - The Other Side of the Door

Timbaland (ft. Justin Timberlake) - Carry Out

Weezer - Pork And Beans

(Jennifer's Body soundtrack)
Low Shoulder - Through The Trees

x

Did I promise top five music videos? Wait... Nah, I didn't.

Maybe later on this (or next?) week if I can find some me time. It's hard to find some nowadays. Since stupid activities are occupying everything and I feel so bad for leaving my dog to be lonely.

I will write a book review for Reflex (Jumper 2) and a game review for Batman : Arkham Asylum soon. When I'm free, of course.

Currently reading : Terminator Salvation.

Currently listening to : N'sync - I Want You Back.

By the way, Ronan Keating's Stay is a pretty good song. You should really go listen to it.

BTW (again), have you listened Tonight Is Your Night by Jesse McCartney? Someone leaked the song on the internet.  Oh, he swears in the song. That's so cool. o_O

x

Goodbye, weekends.
