we rock the satellites
Is it just me or does the radio channel change whenever I hear a song I like?

Maybe because of my really, really bad taste of music. Or you just hate the kind of music I like.
I realize I like some songs other people hate. Like it or not, here is my top ten.

Did I mention I hate the remake of We Are The World?
Totally unoriginal because of the unknown new singers. What's up with the synthesized voices too? Hey, no Stevie Wonder or Michael Jackson, no good, okay?
x

What do you call a person obsessed with long sleeves?
The obsession starts only if you look good in them.

The review, coming soon.
The game, craving for it now.
Must. Control. Argh.

Later.
i’ve been looking for the answer somewhere

27 Dresses.
Totally worth watching. 9.5/10 for me. Wonderful storyline.
I was really excited when I saw it was on TV already. T suggested we watch it a few years back and when I said, "Let's go watch it", the movie was already off the cinemas. And lucky for me, I was watching TV before the movie started.
It was worth my 1 hour and 51 minutes. I was practically glued to the screen. My daddy even let me watch the whole movie before going out. Yay.

Katherine Heigl was amazing. I loved her character, Jane. A fun wedding lover who helps others without thinking about her own needs. The beginning of the movie was already attractive. She kept going back and forth to these two weddings she had to attend and it's hilarious that she changes between two dresses in the back of a cab. LOL moment for me.

James Marsden's smile is to die for. He plays Kevin (I'm glad people didn't call him Malcolm, his other name), a (charming and adorable) writer for a newspaper who slowly falls in love with Jane. I loved how he wrote his name on every Friday in Jane's planner. Another LOL moment.

One of my favorite scenes - after Jane tries all her 27 dresses and Kevin comments on every dress.
I thought Tess, Jane's sister, was rather b*tchy but I guess she was okay after she revealed she was just trying to be like Jane. And George was one of the interesting characters too.
Conclusion : They should have more movies / love stories like that because I really, really loved this movie. They don't just focus on two same characters but it focuses on other characters and problems. Definitely looking forwards to more movies like that.
27 Dresses really made my day so much brighter.
Go watch it if you haven't. (:

Mr Smile. Haha!

BTW, Happy Belated Valentine's Day.
Hope you enjoyed your day with your loved ones.

We've been MIA for sometime and I predict we will be MIA in the future until we find our me-time. There hasn't been much going on but keep looking out for our posts. We're looking for interesting happenings around us actually but it's been pretty boring these days.
I'll be working on a game review soon and my top ten will probably be soon.
Okay. That's all. Take care. Ta.

you’re beautiful, it’s true

It seems like the journey to the end of the rainbow where the pot of gold is taking forever.
I can't wait till I finally see the end. I hope it'll be soon.
x
As you all might have noticed (for those who actually still read this), I've been really busy. I've been piled with homework and nothing else. I'll probably be free the next few weeks so wait for more posts.
These are the few things that summarize my week.

Ugh, so overrated.
Happy Saturday!
See you folks.
x
baby, you know that maybe it’s time for miracles

How I spent my weekends healing my muscle aches.
It was surprising how the TV can suddenly crank out some really interesting movies. And coincidentally, I'm always there. Hm, I don't mind watching stupid movies. All I want is to make my cranky mood disappear and my horrible muscle aches to go away.
Becoming Jane is about Jane Austen and her (love)life. I thought it was.. emotional. I mean, I didn't expect much.
Dirty Rotten Scoundrels is a movie you should watch. It's an old movie starring Steve Martin and Michael Caine. It's so smart yet so silly. I love how sweet and naive the girl is to both of them but actually she's the real con-woman. I would definitely watch it again. 22-year-old movie, heh.
Before she was Bella and not so
. Catch That Kid is like a kiddies' movie, I know but I felt like wasting my time so that's how I ended up watching 1/4 of the movie. I had to laugh at some silly parts though. Okay, I am weird.
Head Over Heels, one of my favorites last time. How can you resist the charming grin on Freddie Prinze Jr's face? LOL. Enjoyable movie that even made my dad laugh.
Where The Red Fern Grows is that dog movie I reviewed before. I couldn't bear to watch the whole thing because I would start bawling before the sad parts.
Then, Deadly Encounter. It's about some crazy guy following this woman for a stupid reason. I expected an exciting ending but it wasn't much of an excitement. I had to flinch at some slightly disturbing scenes.
x

My girlfriend told me she doesn't like Adam Lambert's Whataya Want From Me and I was totally horrified.
How can she not like the song? I mean, it was love at first sound for me when I heard it. And the guitar parts are so catchy. I never imagined someone not liking the song. Puh-lease, my mom likes it, okay? I'm so in love with the song now. And the video, of course.
I was horrified at that and my friends were horrified at me. Because I told them I thought Adam Lambert was hot. He is, in a different way! T and I were shrieking at his good looks in his latest video until we were told to shut up.
It's okay if you don't like the song. Now I can have it all to myself!
x

Music got me back into my good mood.
But I really prefer it this way - just me and music, music and me, alone.
It's funny how my playlist communicates with me by guessing the song I want to listen, making me smile through the whole song until I realize it's just coincidence or just me, hoping too much. Sometimes it scares me how it just hits the bulls' eye without missing a beat. It's as if it understands my feelings like a horse does.
A few of my favorite songs made my day and it's that easy.
It really feels so good to smile. I wish more people would make me smile, though.
Oh, I'mma do the top ten for this week during the weekends. I should include the 2010 albums I can't wait for as well before they're all released. And I really hope this post is .. satisfying. BTW, I love Michael Learns To Rock. Do you?
x

Pwetty. (:
Did you put that smile on my face or was it just my imagination?
you took my heart away

Ooooh, baaaa! Said the little green men in Toy Story.
I kind of hate cupcakes but I like looking at them. Purple cupcakes are idealistic.
Okay, to cut to the chase, we haven't been blogging much because we've been busy, busy, busy! Really busy, I feel like flying off to another planet to take a breather. *exhales!
Sunday, I have never liked you much.
I left my heart homework on the dancefloor (so that people will step all over it and eventually it'll shred to pieces). HAHA. I'm a genius!
x

I'm having a karaoke session at home now. Saturday night, y'all.

She's gorgeous.

Guess whose? You got that right. Mine.

He is not frigging JUS*** BIE***.

I want and need a purse, preferably a Marc Jacobs one. (:

Basically, all my thoughts since I stopped blogging. Sufficient enough to keep you satiated for another week, I hope.
XOXO.
so i start a fight cause i need to feel something

Why I know that this year is going to be a hell of a ride.
Oh, totally gross but I laughed really hard when Nick tweeted this. I knew they weren't going to stay mad at each other for that long. You make me smile, Nick and Ty.
Since I'm feeling totally depressed, I'm going back to my favorite past time: Posting a gazillion pictures that will be sure to lag you out of our page. Just kidding.

This is how I feel.

Why the hell does he have to be so sexy? :/ Lol.

That's the I Wanna face.

Wish I could be that excited...

I miss Gossip Girl. Where are those episodes? I've been too busy with nothing to not watch it. Darn. Now there's not going to be anymore time.

Who cares if David looks gay? I like him and he can speak French. (:

Seb is the cutest! Love ya, Seb... and Stuey! (:

No! My dream of Katy and David being together has been crushed by Russell Brand's proposal to Katy. WHY!??!?!

They met here... at the AMAs, was it? No idea. My memory does not serve as I was not sitting beside Nick Wheeler at the event. Just kidding!
Anyways, they're engaged now. Katy and Russell... much to my... horror? Okay, whatev. It's none of my business. I wish her well. Him as well. Um, congratulations.

So... you and the werewolf didn't last, huh? Oh well. Better to part as friends than enemies.

You hear that, Jesse? You're WANTED! (:

Me love Cookie Monstah! Caveman talk *inside joke.

Screw Worst Actress of the Year. Megan Fox is hot. Kristen Stewart is a bad actress and she isn't even hot. You go, Megan! I sound like Perez but I don't give a hoot.

I saw someone wearing this that day. Back off, b*tch. Marc Jacobs is mine!

Wondering when I'm going to be able to finish watching my Las Vegas seasons.

I've been watching my brother play Batman: Arkham Asylum. It's been fun and while this Batman might be 'saving' Katy Perry, the one in the game is kicking badass.

Mmhmm. Dr Watson at your service... *hint* :]
That will be all from me.
Goodbye from your friendly neigborhood spider bat Cookie Monster!

P.S: This is me and C's convo about Chris Brown.
Me: I'm listening to Chris Brown.
C: Yeah I was just thinking how long it's been since I listened to Wall to Wall.
Me: I'm over it. *It refers to the CB-Rihanna incident.
Me: Cause I kinda hate Rihanna more now.
C: Yeah. Haha.
C: Community service FTW.
Me: LOL!!!
Heh. We're lamers.

Happy New Year again!
I'm late. Yes, I know.
Sorry about that. A new year means new things to plan and organize. Been slightly busy with this and that but I'm here now. To blog... about New Year's day and whatnot.
First off,

May this year bring you joy, happiness, wealth, prosperity, good health, whatever whatever. All good things, that is. It's time to step out of 2009 and in to 2010. However crappy 2010 may turn out to be, remember that there's always next year. And by the way, I strongly disapprove of the people who keep insisting that the world will end in 2012. If it ends in 2012, so be it. Stop depressing everyone by saying that we'll be gone in 2 years time.
Anyways, 2010, here I come. The first two days of this new year have already proved to be... quite normal. I don't think I'll be saying that next week. I'll probably be busy, busy, busy but fear not, for I shall not forget thee, dear blog. Har har. Shakespeare, I am not. Forget my pathetic attempt at talking medieval language.
I don't have many resolutions this year but I found this and thought it summed up a few of my plans:

Yes. And to add to the list:
- Smile more.
- Try not to curse and swear too much.
- Try to actually finish my assignments on time.
- Give my dog more attention so that he won't be so deprived and won't feel the need to run away like a silly mutt. Okay, that was unkind. I take that back...
- Tolerate more nonsense from people I hate dislike.
- Uh... do something useful with my life.
- Try not to wish for the year to end quickly seeing as it's hardly been two days since the new year.
- Complain less.
And yeah, that about sums up what I plan to do this year.
What do you plan to do?

We watched the fireworks display from the usual rooftop this year and it was amazing though I don't think it was anything great compared to all the other ones I saw on CNN. LOL. The grass on the other side always looks greener, I guess.

This is not the real picture. I just nipped it from Bing images.

And... apart from New Year's day, nothing much has been going on. Same old, same old.
I've been invited to a friend's birthday barbecue party. I'm wondering if I should go. I feel awkward at social events. I mean, I'm not unsociable... I just don't fit in because I'm not like everybody else. And I hate buying birthday presents for people because it's a hassle. I must sound pretty mean but seriously though, birthday parties and buying birthday presents are not fun things to do.
![]()
Oh, by the way,

I went grocery shopping with my mom on New Year's Eve.

![]()
School's gonna suck. Oh well. Nothing new there.
![]()
That's probably it from me today or is it tomorrow already? Ah well.
Love and peace, T.

add on, that I’m a coward
My blogging momentum has been swayed by the sweet temptation of books.

Yes. Another one of Susan Elizabeth Phillips's brilliant work of art. I honestly love her books and the Chicago Stars series even though the plots are almost similar. Somehow she always manages to write honest pieces of work which are believable and totally sweet. We even think along the same lines except she has actually written and published them out.
I love this book - Nobody's Baby But Mine. Dr Jane Darlington and Calvin Bonner. I love their smart-mouthed arguments and how Jane gets along so well with Annie. Not gonna spoil the story so I'm not going to do a full review but basically it's about Jane, who is a genius and a physicist, tricking Cal, the dumb jock, so that she can have a baby with a normal IQ without him knowing. When Cal, whom Jane assumed was stupid because of his pretty but supposedly dumb looks, finds out what she did, he becomes pissed and.. La-la-la. Go read the story yourself.
If any of you have read this, don't you think that Kevin Tucker is a cutie? I do.

The second one I'm done with is Match Me If You Can. Heath Champion (Heath D. Campione) and Annabelle Granger. Annabelle, if you read Natural Born Charmer, is Dean's best friend and this is the book where they first meet. Again, an amazing book. Very touching and full of emotion.
Heath (a.k.a The Python) is a sports agent and Annabelle is a matchmaker. She's been known to fail everything she does and her family do their best to convince her that she's a failure and she's better off becoming an accountant. Heath is 34 and looking for a wife. He has already hired a matchmaker, Portia Powers, to help him find a wife but does his best friend's wife, Molly a favor by seeing her friend who is also a matchmaker. That matchmaker would be Annabelle. And there begins the story of lots of ups and downs and convincing and heartache and also happiness. Read it if you want to know Heath's real name.
Have I mentioned that I think Pippi Tucker is really cute?
Although these two books have been incredibly wonderful and I had lots of Laugh-Out-Loud moments to myself, I still prefer Natural Born Charmer. Read my review on the main characters and whatnot. When I read what I wrote a few months back, I wonder where I found all those words.

Dean Robillard and Blue Bailey appeal more to me because: 1. Dean is cooler than the rest. 2. Blue is cute and fragile and her disastrous fashion is hilarious. 3. The story feels.. personal. 4. The house is Nobody's Baby But Mine sounds creepy. 5. The Portia and Bodie parts in Match Me If You Can don't raise any interest in me. Yeah..that's it.
I'm starting on This Heart of Mine which is Kevin Tucker's story but it's irritating me for some reason. I think one of the reasons is because her name is Molly Somerville. The name Molly brings up an image of a plain woman in my mind and that's not catchy at all. I don't know what made me relate that to the name but it's there. Another reason is because the story is almost the same as Nobody's Baby But Mine. I think I need something to drift the similarities apart and that something is taking a break from this book and reading something else. And.. Molly is Phoebe Calebow's sister and Phoebe does have her bitchy moments in Match Me If You Can.
I'm now getting an itchy obsession for somebody to draw Dean and Blue out on paper so that I can 'see' them. But I can't draw and people won't know how I'm imagining them in my head. The pain of not being an artist.

Oh, I just remembered that I didn't write about Heaven, Texas. Sweet old Gracie Snow and country bad boy Bobby Tom Denton. I didn't really read the whole thing because my eyes blurred after a while and I didn't pick it up after that. From what I've read, the shy, plain Gracie manages to grab the football star's attention and all I've got to say to beautiful girls is, "Plain but nice chicks are magnets too."

Parlez vouz francais.

Listening to Backstreet Boys - Masquerade. It sounds a bit like 3Oh!3's Starstrukk, I almost expect the Boys to whistle Whoohoo! :/

I changed my mind. I want a Dean Robillard of my own !!

as I stare at you for hours

They should have more signs like these around town.

So.. since C didn't put up pictures for Jesse McCartney in her previous post, I will put 'em up now. MWAHAHAHA!
Why did he have to go dark haired? Blond was cute.
x
Let's see.. The Gibson or..

..or the Takamine.
Literally and figuratively.
x

The French Canadian. What has happened to David? If it's one person who is good at keeping a low profile, it's this guy. Haven't heard a peep about him in what seems like donkey years.
x

I LOVE this picture. It's "pretty fla", quote Sebastien. Gabe, if I stood beside you, it would be as if I were a mushroom and you were a redwood tree. Okay, maybe not a mushroom. How about a mango tree? Lol.
x

At Katy's 25th birthday bash. James Valentine, Katy Perry and Mickey Madden. Who wants to invite me to their birthday party?
x

Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox. Man, they look good together.

Hi, my name is Paul Walker. Hi, Paul, nice gesture you're showing your fans. I love peace. Really? So do I.
x

I want a Taylor Taylor guitar. Grrr. Maybe no Gibson or Takamine then.
x
Hope you enjoyed my random thoughts and random pictures.
More later.

and I hope you feel the same
So.. has anyone heard about the Justin Bieber incident because I have, thanks to Ryan Seacrest. You can follow him on Twitter @RyanSeacrest. Anyhoo, people got injured and trampled over and arrested because of his 'popularity'. Gawd. Apparently a security guard was trampled to death. Poor guy. And all this because of some puny 15 year old boy who can't freaking sing. I feel sorry for y'all who got hurt out there but well, you all love him so what can I say?
And the Miley Cyrus bus accident, killing 1 and injuring 9? Hell, what is up with these teen stars and the news related to them????? Weird shit that you don't see happening any day. Anyway, my condolences and get well soons to those people. Oh, by the way, I watched the trailer for 'The Last Song' on RyanSeacrest.com because I happened to be scrolling by and I don't do that very often, and it's a movie adapted from one of Nicholas Sparks's books. And guess who is the main character? Oh, just freaking piece of crap Miley Cyrus who can't act or sing for peanuts. Yeah, you know how that's gonna turn out but people love people who have no talent. Again, what else can I say?
x

Apart from all that sickening and saddening teen star news, this picture made my day:

Yes, that would be Nick Wheeler. The one who gave me a nightmare last night. I dreamed that he was obsessing over this mean girl and I was ignored. When I woke up, I found out that it was just a dream. Gah. Thank God.
Flip Flop Boy. Hardly. (:
Okay.. let me just paw through my files and see what picture I come up with so that I can write something interesting.

I swear my dog smiles exactly like this!! Okay, maybe this is not a smile. Let me find the right picture. Cute hat, Ty. This is not the hat that I was talking about on Twitter, if you're wondering. Do follow us @spuddybuddies.

Yeah, like this. The sideways smile. Oh, look, Jimmy is behind. Their frowning manager. Just kidding. Jimmy's really cool. How do I know this? Because.. it's a secret. Okay, maybe not but I'm not telling.
Video of the day:
