I don't usually admit what type of songs/music I personally like but I'll make an exception this time.

I'm super excited for Owl City's upcoming album, All Things Bright And Beautiful. The new songs are definitely catchier and the cute tunes are still there. What I really like about every Owl City songs: The lyrics come from a true dreamer. The words are so different, so interesting. Apple raspberry, strawberry avalanche, butterfly wings, alligator sky -- who even uses these words in a song? Adam Young brings non-living things to life with every lyric. In his songs, he describes coughing engines, tasting the Milky Way, spending afternoons in hot air balloons... I also love electronic-pop tunes he uses. Simple, fun and cute. So far I've fallen in love with 'Deer In The Headlights' and 'Dreams Don't Turn To Dust'. Can't wait for June!

What comes after their self-titled album? Simple Plan and their new album! I can't wait for the album because from what Chuck and Pierre keep Tweeting now and then, it sounds pretty interesting. Also because we've been waiting for, what, two years already.

Then, there's AAR. They said they're gonna try to write an album together. You know, after their fight, they might have a little difficulties. I don't know but I'm hoping it'll be a really good one. Hopefully, they'll release it by the end of this year.

And Linkin Park? Definitely. More songs like New Divide and Leave Out All The Rest. I don't like the noisy screaming and rap-like songs. Hey, but they're not as bad as everyone thinks. I bet they'll have a song on Transformers 3.

Miss - oops, I mean, soon-to-be Mrs - Katy Perry is working with Ryan Tedder on her next album. Awesome pair! Ryan is good with anyone and all the songs he writes is just simple but amazing. Better vocal performance, maybe, Katy? And more lovable songs like I Kissed A Girl, please. Don't keep us waiting.

Maroon 5, please don't break up. Please, please, please. I'm willing to wait for album if you're not breaking up. They're all such great people. Their album should be ready by early 2010, says Wikipedia. I can't wait. I'm not expecting anything less from their new album.

What name comes before Departure? Jesse McCartney. Duh. What were you thinking? It seems like he's done with a few songs. He says it's like a continuation for Departure. Bleh. He should definitely sing more songs like Right Where You Want Me. Okay, whatever. I can't wait.

Oh, guess who else? Yes, Taylor Swift. Everyone is wild for her and everyone expects the best from her. Breakup, makeup, heartbreaks, unnoticed love songs.

This is for T, since I don't listen to Lifehouse. Lifehouse FTW for her! A new album this year, I think.

I don't know why, but I think I'll wait for Hard Fi's and Matchbox 20's new album this year. Hard Fi isn't that bad but hopefully there are some songs I can actually listen to. Go, Rob Thomas, for Matchbox 20! Their songs are so cute and nice. So, yeah.

How I spent my weekends healing my muscle aches.

It was surprising how the TV can suddenly crank out some really interesting movies. And coincidentally, I'm always there. Hm, I don't mind watching stupid movies. All I want is to make my cranky mood disappear and my horrible muscle aches to go away.

Becoming Jane is about Jane Austen and her (love)life. I thought it was.. emotional. I mean, I didn't expect much.

Dirty Rotten Scoundrels is a movie you should watch. It's an old movie starring Steve Martin and Michael Caine. It's so smart yet so silly. I love how sweet and naive the girl is to both of them but actually she's the real con-woman. I would definitely watch it again. 22-year-old movie, heh.

Before she was Bella and not so . Catch That Kid is like a kiddies' movie, I know but I felt like wasting my time so that's how I ended up watching 1/4 of the movie. I had to laugh at some silly parts though. Okay, I am weird.

Head Over Heels, one of my favorites last time. How can you resist the charming grin on Freddie Prinze Jr's face? LOL. Enjoyable movie that even made my dad laugh.

Where The Red Fern Grows is that dog movie I reviewed before. I couldn't bear to watch the whole thing because I would start bawling before the sad parts.

Then, Deadly Encounter. It's about some crazy guy following this woman for a stupid reason. I expected an exciting ending but it wasn't much of an excitement. I had to flinch at some slightly disturbing scenes.

My girlfriend told me she doesn't like Adam Lambert's Whataya Want From Me and I was totally horrified.

How can she not like the song? I mean, it was love at first sound for me when I heard it. And the guitar parts are so catchy. I never imagined someone not liking the song. Puh-lease, my mom likes it, okay? I'm so in love with the song now. And the video, of course.

I was horrified at that and my friends were horrified at me. Because I told them I thought Adam Lambert was hot. He is, in a different way! T and I were shrieking at his good looks in his latest video until we were told to shut up.

It's okay if you don't like the song. Now I can have it all to myself!

Music got me back into my good mood.

But I really prefer it this way - just me and music, music and me, alone.

It's funny how my playlist communicates with me by guessing the song I want to listen, making me smile through the whole song until I realize it's just coincidence or just me, hoping too much. Sometimes it scares me how it just hits the bulls' eye without missing a beat. It's as if it understands my feelings like a horse does.

A few of my favorite songs made my day and it's that easy.

It really feels so good to smile. I wish more people would make me smile, though.

Oh, I'mma do the top ten for this week during the weekends. I should include the 2010 albums I can't wait for as well before they're all released. And I really hope this post is .. satisfying. BTW, I love Michael Learns To Rock. Do you?

Today's confession: I'm in love with Adam Lambert's songs.

Whataya Want From Me is our vacation song. How cool is that? Love that song. And his live performance is real.

And I've discovered that Aftermath is a pretty good song too. Yay, Adam!

Officially off tour. New record please. I hope they make more good music because they're real good. Toad said on their Twitter that they'll be back on tour sooner than we all think. Toad... just how soon is soon? We don't mind the wait for a new album, really.

I watched Lady Gaga's Bad Romance video.

Now what do I think of it...?

Hmm.. over dramatized, as usual. Costumes, main idea and all.

And aside from music that I listen to, I watched a Demi Lovato music video on TV today and my mom was absolutely disgusted with her screaming that people call singing. And what's with all the red lipstick? How old is she anyway? 35?

I also watched Party in the USA. It was striptease-worthy and I bet her daddy's way proud of her. I'm no fan of Miley at all. Well, make that all the Disney singers. A batch of screaming youngsters is just what we need in this generation. Way to go, Disney. Why can't we have more people like Debbie Gibson and Mandy Moore and Sara Bareilles?

You must be wondering where we've been these few days. Well, we've been having a good time, that's for sure. Now we're back.

Or more precisely, I am back.

I haven't written anything worthy lately and somebody's been egging me to. So here it is. My worthy post of pictures and random captions because I'm sooooo interesting (note sarcasm). I don't really know what to say except for Christmas is around the corner and there's nothing to suggest the spirit of joy because moods have been dampened by stupid relatives who make life hard for others.

You know what? If life didn't have any boundaries or law, I would totally stand up, throw down my napkin and just tell any jerk in their faces to eff off. People can only take so much and if you're making life hard for everybody, someone needs to tell you that we're not your stepping stones and we don't do shoe-shining like Charlie Bucket in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

Weddings nowadays are just businesses for couples to earn profit from. How nice it must be to rip people off and drain their wallets dry while you celebrate your marriage and expect people to shower you with cold hard cash and gifts. Killing two birds with one stone?

I hate being the only one who listens and cares. I'm not Superman. I can't swallow all of it down and I know it's hard for them too but it's always me the people run to whenever they have something to complain or shed tears about. I care and I want to listen and I want to help you but a triple dose of it everyday just makes me wish I was elsewhere.

And then there are people who are so wrapped in their own business and oblivious to the real world and the harsh truth of life. They just live life as if nothing is happening because they don't care and it doesn't concern them in any way. Go on, blast music, continue spending money like water, continue eating like there's no tomorrow, slice your wrists when you do realize that there is pain in this world, throw hissy fits when nothing pleases you, sulk in the corner, wait for someone to feed you with a silver spoon, ignore us. When you step out into the real world, you won't have a chance.

Have you heard of Owl City?

If I'm not mistaken, there's only one guy called Adam Young singing. Apparently, he's everyone's favorite musician/singer now. At least, it's not some new screamo wanna-be band. The music he makes is called.. synthpop. So I guess that's why it sounds slightly weird.

I have nothing against Owl City because the songs sound pretty cute. Kinda like background music for games. And the song names are cute - "Fireflies", "Hot Air Balloon", "Umbrella Beach". I've only listened to Fireflies and I don't know what I think of it. Cute music, but I'm not sure if I like it.

What about Uncle Kracker?

If you're looking for a guy with a slang and sings and makes upbeat music, then you have to listen to his songs. Even the introduction of each song from his Happy Hour album attracts your attention with the catchy tunes.

I can assure you his song "Smile" will make you smile because the words are so right.

Weezer, Raditude!

I love their song "Put Me Back Together". It's not because Tyson Ritter or Nick Wheeler wrote the song with Rivers Cuomo. I love how it starts out quiet and slow and then it gets faster with more beats. So Weezer.

And it's good to hear Rivers' familiar rather high vocals. The drums and guitar sound great! The lyrics are cute and hilarious - "And when I daydream, we're eating ice cream".

I think they improved after The Red Album.. so, Weezer and Raditude FTW! =w=

You know you'll love his fast paced songs and he's featuring lots of people - Justin Timberlake (duh!), Chad Kroeger (Nickelback), Katy Perry (ooh), Miley Cyrus (UHH...), Jet (they sang "She's A Genius"), Daughtry, One Republic, Nelly Furtado, Keri Hilson... other people..

I watched a really emotional movie called Where The Red Fern Grows.

I just watched it because Kris Kristofferson was in the starting. Then I wondered what it was about. So I watched the whole movie.

It's about a boy who worked hard to buy two puppies.

It's a movie that just crushes your feelings. Because the boy was so happy when he got the dogs and everything changed so much after that.. (Spoiler Alert!) Like they died in the end. ):

Some boy died in the movie and I was like WTH because no one really deserves to die in movies like these.

Anyway, it's quite okay at the not-so-fake parts. 7/10. For all ages!
