Okay, since I've skimmed through the other fellow bloggers' blogs, I've decided to talk about our charity.

We'll be blogging for the Best Friends Animal Society.

Just like humans, animals should be given hope. Imagine yourself, homeless and broke and sick. You'd want someone to care for you, wouldn't you?

Step into an animal's paws/hooves. Have you ever been stuck in a rut? Have you ever been trapped and waited endlessly for someone to rescue you? Have you ever starved? Have you ever gotten chased out of somewhere? Just imagine. You must've been in a bad situation before.

Just imagine: You have a roof over your head, you are clothed and warm, you have regular meals. And out there somewhere, animals and people are in the cold, starving, maybe sick, maybe dying.

Anyone with a little bit of sympathy and empathy would feel their hearts gnaw guiltily at the thought of others who are suffering while we have the leisure of enjoying our homes.

• If you can't help a human, help an animal at least.

Animals are also living beings. They have every right to be treated fairly and kindly. Fairness and equality, people.
