I used to be trippin’ over missin’ you but I’m not anymore
Honestly, this connection cannot get slower than it already is!
I have tons of drafts in the draft box because halfway through writing, it just lags and I get so tired so I just log out and close the screen.
Okay, people in this world are too materialistic. I just chatted with a couple of my friends and the reason they're almost peeing in their pants, hoping and praying very hard and religiously is because they get something out of what's coming up in less than a week.
I call that bribery. They call it a bonus. I'm sure some of them didn't con their parents into buying whatever they want if they do well but most of them did. There's hardly a thing called doing it because you want to anymore. Suddenly they are studying, burning the midnight oil religiously. Why? Because they will get a huge reward after that.
I'm such it's a booster to get you going and motivated but honestly, they do it till they die. I mean, some even study until they go bananas just because they want their iPod, their new phone, a new PS, new PC, new clothes, a vacation to Paris or Rome or whatever.
Personally, I think it's rubbish. Why can't you study because you want to pass with flying colors? For their entire life, they'll be expecting diamond mines out of things you have to work for. And that is just wrong. These intentions aren't pure at all. The word is greedy, thank you very much.
When they hear that I don't get anything out of it, they're like WTFFFFF? WHY EVER NOT? YOUR PARENTS MUST BE REALLY STINGY! Well, no, honey, my parents aren't stingy pokers or big spenders either. I don't ask my parents for anything back either. A few months back my dad offered to buy me a really snazzy, classy and expensive watch. I asked why the sudden generosity? He said maybe I could get it as a reward if my hard work paid off. I was like, "Uh, dad, I don't accept bribery" and my dad was all, "Ahhh.. Okay. How about getting it for your birthday then?" I think my dad's office people have been talking about giving rewards to their kids so my dad thought maybe I wanted one too.
Thanks, Dad but rest assured I'm not like any other person.
Back to the point. Everyone expects something materialistic out of what they've done. Me? I guess I just expect my grades to be good because that's what I freaking want. I swear I studied really hard even if Mom kept peeking in to check on me and I happened to be doing something else.
Wrong place, wrong time, Mom.
Well, I'm not saying I don't get anything out of my effort and stuff. But I don't ask for it or anything. Maybe my dad will take us out for dinner or just to celebrate but that's about it.
End of sudden thought of materialistic people.
On a more cheerful side, I captured some screenshots of Seb in the vlog from Edmonton. I know that was long ago but oh my God, he looked adorable in that vlog.
One more thing.. WHY DID THEY TAKE OFF THE FOOTBAGGING VLOG?!?! Barbeque you, Youtube for being such a control freak. That video belongs to them not a third party!

encouragement to keep us playing and learning
